“As someone who grew up in and loves Metuchen deeply, I can officially add Terzo to one of the most memorable places of one of my favorite towns. Came here to have dinner and introduce my parents to my boyfriend’s parents, a very special occasion for us. At no point did we feel rushed throughout our experience which I appreciate a lot since we were there from 6-9pm on a Wednesday night.
The atmosphere is beautiful and perfect for any special occasion or date night. Everyone was raving about the food the entire time!
For appetizers we got the peach burrata salad, wagyu meatballs (our favorite!), and the calamari (second favorite!!). For dinner we loved the cacio de pepe and chicken parm. The crab risotto was a top contender too. Oh my, the portions are so big so be ready to take some home! For dessert we had the apple pie cannolis and coffee. Sangria was yummy but in a smaller pitcher than we normally see, so get two if you have a bigger group! I wish I took some pictures of our food but we were having too good of a time to actually think about it!

“Wow! Really hard to put into words how incredible the dining experience was here. The service, beverages, & chefs tasting menu was an experience unlike any I’ve ever had before. “Frequent customer, but always blown away with the freshness of their summer menu. The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. The Mexi-Avo toast was so filling and the flavors melted together so nicely. Don’t forget the decor inside is so cozy, boho/havana vibe and perfect for a date or girl’s brunch. 10/10”

“Brewed Awakening is the perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The food is consistently delicious, and some of my favorites include the BLT Sandwich (always made to perfection), the omelettes, and their Apple Caramel Butter Latte—a delightful seasonal treat. I first discovered the latte through a social media post a few weeks ago, and now Brewed Awakening has become my go-to spot every Sunday for a relaxing meal. The service is always warm and welcoming. Annie, the owner, often makes an appearance on the floor, either serving or checking in with guests to ensure they’re enjoying their visit. Her kindness and genuine hospitality make the experience even more special. I highly recommend stopping by Brewed Awakening for a delicious meal and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed!”

“I struggle to find words that can do Bonney’s justice. The food is phenomenal, and the portions beyond generous. The fusion of Jamaican and Filipino staples creates such a beautiful symphony of flavors, it’s truly unique and out of this world delicious! However, it is the service and atmosphere, so warm and inviting, that it feels like a weekend barbecue with close friends and family that takes it up a notch from great restaurant to a special experience.”

“Had such a great experience at Akihi! Adrien and Jacob were both so friendly, fast, and efficient. They even brought our waffle over to our table, which was such a nice touch. They made our visit amazing, and we’ll definitely be coming back! :)”

“Had breakfast here early on a Saturday with a friend. Food was good for sure. However, EVERY person working at this restaurant attended to us. We had a hard time finishing one sentence of our conversation without being asked how things were or if we wanted more coffee. I'm serious, no fewer than 6 people visited our table. Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!”

“Absolutely amazing service. My husband and I happened to come across from Staten Island where we are visiting his Grandmother (we are from Hampton, VA). Let me tell you this spot did not disappoint. Nestled in beautiful area, we’re welcoming faces, great customer service and the most amazing tasting Boba Tea! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again! We highly recommend you checking out Boba Time Tea!!!”

“🍦 Great little spot for ice cream! They have outdoor seating with a cute little table where you can sit and enjoy your treats. The prices are very reasonable. We got 3 “kids” size plus a waffle cone for around $15! Each cone had 2 scoops, so the portions were good. They also let you mix and match flavors, which is a nice bonus!

The staff was friendly, the ice cream was flavorful and the place looked clean. Definitely a nice spot to stop by when you’re craving something sweet! 😊”

“I’ve been here a few times and really enjoy the food! I’ve tried a few different phos and they’ve all been really good and have nice portions. I usually add extra veggies, chili oil, and Chin Su to mine, which I personally love. Also, dipping the bread in the pho is sosososo good!

The avocado smoothie is also really good, especially since I’m a big fan of avocado. I highly recommend it!

The waiters are always really nice, too!

It’s a very chill place with plenty of seating, although it can get crowded sometimes, so I’d recommend calling ahead if you want to make sure there’s a table.

So if you’re looking for good Vietnamese food, this is for sure the place!

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.”

“Fabulous dining experience at The Greek on Main! Recommended by our son! Appetizers were amazing! Fig & Goat Cheese Flatbread Haloumi Fries- Feta and roasted red pepper aioli. So good! Tomato salad! Enjoyed two entrée specials!- Shrimp and Pork- Delicious! The prawns and lamb shank were well prepared! Dessert and tea! Perfectly ended the night! Our Server Lovely was truly lovely!! “Peri Peri Chicken is one of my favorite spots! Their Lemon & Herb and Mild chicken are both absolutely delicious perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor without being overwhelming. “I'm from Brooklyn NY. Historically I always felt NYC was Superior when it came to make sushi. I live in Summerville so there's several sushi options we have but I didn't really find them good or tasty. And my friend recommended we go to this place and honestly by 4:00 best tasting sushi that I've had in New Jersey. It's very clean, it's a great talking atmosphere, staff is friendly. Prices are good. FYI parking is behind the restaurant. I didn't realize that before signing a parking in the shopping center across the street.”

“Great Food and great service, Sue and Mariolla are the best. My co-worker and I go there at least once a week whether in person or ordering online Sue makes it happen. Sue knows all of our orders and she takes care of us making sure I food comes out perfect and hot. Sue is kind, helpful and friendly so we love coming there to see her and the food.”
