“I came in and ordered a Dhoom chicken sandwich and some fried chicken and I noticed they had biryani. In my twenty-two years of living I have never seen biryani on the menu of any halal platter/chicken shack place so I gave it a try expecting it to be mid. They are on par with a few of the restaurants in the area with that biryani and it's actually pretty cheap too at 12 bucks. They put a fair amount of meat in there too, like three pieces with a lot of rice. The Dhoom chicken sandwich was actually fresh and had some good toppings (onions, tomatoes) with tasty sauce. The fried chicken was a little greasy though. Even though Piscataway and NB are full of halal places if you're looking for something unique try these guys.”

The highlights for me were the Sweet & Sour “Chicken” because I feel like it’s not offered very often - & it was sooo good - and the Thai Iced Tea with oat milk b/c it was yum-azing too!!! 🤤”

“We were served today by Alé and she was just wonderful with the service and her kindness. At the end of our meal, my husband left minutes before me for a meeting. I asked for a water before heading out myself but as soon as she went to get that for me, our toddler woke up from his nap and I had to rush home. I felt so bad for not being able to communicate this to her as I couldn’t find her anywhere! My apologies for the confusion and weirdness she probably felt when she came back to our table!! 🙏🏼🫶🏼”

“This place has amazing fro yo and is a very safe place to go during this pandemic. You order online and within minutes they deliver your yogurt to your car, taking proper precautions. They give your toppings and yogurt seperatly so you could mix and match anything!”

“I visited Henry's Diner on Tuesday March 25th, at around 12:30 and it did not disappoint! Parking was somewhat limited, and upon approaching the diner, I noticed a line that had formed. It took me about 20 minutes of waiting before I could sit down. The interior was well maintained and clean with a welcoming atmosphere, because as soon as I sat down, I was greeted by my server in a very nice manner! I ordered the breakfast burger and a side of chicken fingers that came along with fries. All of these dishes were incredible! The burger was juicy and not dry, the egg had a nice yolk, with very tasty bacon, and the fries were very crispy and seasoned well, as well as the chicken tenders being breaded beautifully and having a nice crunch. The diner accepts Rutgers student meal swipes, which is very convenient for any Rutgers students who want to dine here! The menu also caters to various dietary preferences, offering vegetarian options like the melted brie and cranberry sandwich on whole grain bread. The total came out to around $24 for my meal, and considering the amount of food I got for the price, I'd say I'm willing to come back! Overall, Henry's Diner provided a delightful dining experience with its nostalgic yet modern ambiance, attentive service, and diverse menu. It's a spot I'd recommend come back to in a pinch!”

Its a small cafe, but offers enough essentials. They sell pizzas, empandas, burgers, fries... as well healthy juice bar and variety drink options.

But their main feature is the acai bowls - acai, pitahaya or coconut base options. There's a handful of pre-built choices (loaded with fruits, granola, nutella or peanut butter) or create your own. Quick and efficient and beautifully prepared... our Berrytella and Dragon Kiwi bowls came out fresh and delicious.

Will definitely be back, and might even convince me to actually use the gym.”

“The story goes... 30+ years ago, when my mother-in-law was getting driven to the hospital to deliver her son (aka my husband), she stopped at this Dunkin' for coffee & a bite to eat. And thats why my husband loves DD.

Which also explains why we are here on at least a weekly basis. Its on the busy part of River Rd, can be tricky to drive into, but at least has a parking lot. The place is small and fast, perfect for quick to-go pickup.

Staff is great. Last time I went, I ordered 2 donuts and she put 5 in a bag for me. I am not sure if its because it was a slowish day or because I look massively pregnant. Regardless I never turn down free calories!”
