“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. I will 100% be trusting all my future cakes to la bon from now on!“

My friends and family raved about the triple chocolate cake i picked up for my sisters birthday and my best friend and i enjoy a quiet breakfast and cafe on the weekends! “Our counter person was not very pleasant, but it was after 6pm (so we gave him a pass for most likely being tired)

However, the cake was absolutely phenomenal! It was for my wife's birthday and she said it was the most delicious Strawberry Shortcake she ever eaten!
Our guests also sang praises about the cake and inquired where it was purchased!

“This place was recommended by someone at the Warren Flea Market. I ordered a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on an everything bagel. Came with 3 thin slices of Taylor Ham. Plenty of egg and cheeae throughout the sandwich. It was slightly above average based upon others throughout the state. Service was fantastic and both inside and outside areas were great to eat. I would go back again if in the area.“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

Today, I used the restroom. It was very clean; however, there was no soap to wash my hands. The soap dispensers were empty and filled with water.

“These cakes are AMAZING! My daughter’s school had a fundraiser and our order just came it tonight, first time trying Nothing Bundt Cakes and I wish I would of tried them a long time ago. “Many Colombian eateries in the area, and an equally diverse mix of bakeries. However this is the one I visit the most because it's delicious, consistent (!), inexpensive, and clean. Don't be put off by any lines inside, they move quickly. A+ all around!“
