After lunch at Dan Zai, I wanted to check this bakery out.A t first we passed by their bakery which bakes for three other locations and then we went to the café which is next-door.Many lovely treats attractively displayed.We sat at a little table and had a coffee and some of the freshly baked Custard cups. i love coming here! the employees are very sweet, the pastries are delicious, and the building is neat and clean (even the bathroom smelled nice!). i wish i had more reasons to order the fancier cakes! i had bought one for thanksgiving and it was gorgeous and i miss it every day haha. it’s only a 8 minute drive for me, but i have walked an hour just to come here. love it!!

It's been a week and I'm still thinking about the Brioche Custard - Cream. It's a pillowy doughnut, filled with a vanilla bean custard and has a croissant top. I didn't intend to eat the whole thing, but I did. Sorry, not sorry! I also ordered the big coconut. It's a tender brioche bun that is long and very lightly sweet. It was excellent!
