“Can't say this enough, CASH ONLY. Don't be surprised if they run out of treats. If you can the empanadas de carne and the pan de Bono's are worth the wait. I pass on the chicarrón not as crispy as would of liked. The coffee is great black and they do warm the milk if you prefer. As for the location, it could use some renovations. I only take my food to go since dining area looks like a break room.“

“The spectacular mixed chaufa rice at its smoky point the choros a la chalaco good but the anticuchos are very hard for the simple reason that they are grilled but they are not fried in oil why are they going to be hard after what I ate with my husband we just a lot and good “

Las Delicias Bakery Colombian • $
536 W Union Ave, Bound Brook

“A tip before you go: it's cash only! They have an ATM there as well, probably charges a small fee. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews! We were driving through and stopped by because I love Columbian empanadas and figured they'd have them at a bakery. Ended up leaving with pandebono (a type of cheese-filled bread), lenguas (Guatemalan name, long type of crunchy bread), champurradas (disk-shaped), beef empanadas, conchas (soft bread with icing), and arroz con leche. Annnnnnd.... a bandeja paisa. Tried the pandebono while I waited for my paisa that I got to go and absolutely loved them. They were a fresh batch and were soft, slightly sweet, with a hint of cheesiness. I ended up getting more to take home. The empanadas weren't bad! On the small-medium side, but had good flavor and seemed fresh as well. The arroz con leche i as also great and fresh, tasted like my abuela's and was as awesome. I haven't tried the rest of the bakery items yet, so hopefully I'll remember to update this when I do. So when I asked what the size difference between the mini bandeja paisa and the regular were, she shrugged and said not too much of a difference. So of course, I got the bigger one. Ten minutes later, she pulls out a whole TRAY, hefty and full of food. $15 is not bad at all, as other places I've been to typically charge $17+. This thing could feed two people, honestly. The food was well seasoned, not too salty, and generous. The chicharrones. we're great and you get a whole plátano for the maduros! Totally worth it and might have convinced us to come back. Overall, from what I can tell, pretty good eats! It's small inside and we went around 2:30 so it wasn't busy, but I imagine you'd probably have to get stuff to go if they're busy, probably less than 10 seats unless they bring out some folding tables when it's busy. Staff was super friendly and the service was quick and easy. Looks like they also have Guatemalan, Costa Rican, and El Salvadoran food on top of the Colombian. Worth a try!“

“The perfect chocolate cake. It was moist, decadent chocolate cake perfectly layered with like a thicker chocolate pudding, and then it was topped off with chocolate crumbles .... giving it an extra oomph/ perfect textureAlso got the ginger snap - has a nice ginger taste, which is what one would look for.I'm definitely going back.“
