“This is, hands down, one of the best bakeries I have ever been to! Their pastries are so fresh and taste delicious. My favorite is the sweet cheese croissant. They also have some of the best coffee! The staff there are great, respectful, and friendly. You cannot beat their prices. This has been my go-to place every morning for the past two weeks now!“

“Okay I've only been in the area for a few months but so far this is literally my favorite restaurant in a 20-min radius. Portions are HUGE, food is always delicious and well-seasoned, everything is affordable (you can get an $11 lunch special) and their breakfast is just as good as their dinner (which is amazing). I eat here like twice a week now and if I had more money or lived closer I would eat breakfast here every day. I've only done takeout and delivery so I don't know how table service is, but the cashier is always helpful and asks if we want hot sauce/pink sauce, so I'd guess it's good! I mean even if they yelled at me I'd still come back, the food is just THAT good haha“

“Let's play a game: Amanda's top 5 foods: -cinnamon rolls -biscuits and gravy -ribeyes -fried scallops -crab legs Ruby's has at least one of those. My local FB group posted a quick review of the cinnamon rolls so I had to check for myself. When I got there, no rolls were in the display case. I was just about to try something else when the person working the register told me there were some that had just been baked. I ordered two because. I walked back to my car to enjoy them by the fall leaves like a bootleg Hallmark movie. They were delicious. Soft and fluffy, lightly glazed, and not overly sweet. I loved them. So much so I went back the next day but they only had them unglazed. So I had to pass. Side note: they also have the festive Canada Dry flavors you only find during the holidays. Love that. This is a cute neighborhood spot. You can even see the ladies in the back kneading the dough and making the pastries. I'll def be back to support it! “So far almost food I have tried has hit the spot. It's like bringing me back to the motherland. Service is fairly decent, slightly longer than other mom and pop restaurant. Ambiance is great, would be nice to have more seating options.“

“It's been a week and I'm still thinking about the Brioche Custard - Cream. It's a pillowy doughnut, filled with a vanilla bean custard and has a croissant top. I didn't intend to eat the whole thing, but I did. Sorry, not sorry! I also ordered the big coconut. It's a tender brioche bun that is long and very lightly sweet. It was excellent! I sampled the Matcha tiramisu and was wowed by it. I got a Jasmine latte and also loved it. Everything I tried was fantastic. I plan to return soon. The person that helped me was so kind and patient. The store is very organized and has a great vibe. It's an Asian bakery, that also serves tea and coffee. Everything is individually wrapped, and you bring what you want to purchase up to the counter. Their desserts are so fresh and different. I'm typically not a fan of Asian desserts, but these were best in class.“

“I'm a regular customer and the cakes I get from them never disappoints! They're affordable compared to other bakeries around the area, and with a small household like ours we don't need a huge cake for celebrations. Their size and portions are just right for us. The weekend specials are such good deals so we always keep an eye on what they would be each month. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I'm pretty sure at this point they remember me considering how often I stop by lol.“

“Les delices has the BEST treats around. It’s definitely the most fantastic pastry shop I’ve ever been to in my life. From the monster sized sea salt chocolate chip cookies to the macarons to the mango pana cotta, they certainly don’t disappoint. I even had their delicious treats at my baby shower last year. “I've only ordered the rocher cake from them so far. Service was great, the website at the time said there is at least 48 hours turnaround time. I reached out to ask if I can get it sooner and they saved one for me! Communication was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful when I picked up my cake. The cake itself is really rich so if you love ferrero rocher and chocolate cake in general this is the cake for you! Personally it's too sweet for my liking, but I would love to try other cakes as well. It is on the pricier side. Would love to come back and try their coffee and pastries!“

He always ask how I am doing and sometimes gives me small free snacks/pastries. He remember my family and asks how they are doing. Have enjoyed a wide assortment of pastry's, drinks and breakfast sandwiches and I never had a bad experience to-date as the food is always outstanding. “We stopped here unexpectedly when seeing it after eating at the pizzeria next door. There is a tent outside the front door of the restaurant where you could sit outside at a bench if you like. We had parked at the metered parking lot across the street, so we needed to put another quarter in to stay and have dessert here. It's a Portugese / Brazilian restaurant & bakery. We were shocked to see that it opens at 4:40 in the morning! There were several breakfast dishes on the menu. They also had sandwiches, empanadas, and most importantly desserts ! I was excited to see they had chocolate flan ! Omg this was sooooo good. It had chocolate sprinkles on top AND they drizzled chocolate sauce over it. It was so creamy and decadent. I highly recommend this for chocolate lovers. My husband and his brother split a piece of cake. To me, it slightly tasted like sweet cornbread with chocolate icing. To go for the next morning, I took home one of their dulce de leche donuts. Omg this is so good. The donut is not as sweet as an American donut, it's more sweet bread-like. It was absolutely filled with dulce de leche caramel and topped with powdered sugar. The guy that waited on us was very friendly and I think he was amused at my excitement finding all these goodies there. The inside of the restaurant is very casual with several small tables. This place was fairly popular as folks kept walking in and ordering. This is definitely worth the stop here for their baked goods.“

Good quality products in a clean and well-organized store. What sets them apart is how warm and helpful the owners who take turn running the store. Everyone, not just middle easterners, can enjoy the high-quality cold cuts, cheeses, breads, jams, olives, baked goods, spices and frozen meals. The baked goods are beyond good and make wonderful gifts. Arabic and Turkish coffee blends beat almost anything you would find in a supermarket. It is a hidden gem in North Brunswick.“

“It was our first time visiting Cinnaholic of Metuchen. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Right when you walked into the store, the beautiful aroma of cinnamon and cookies hit me at once. They have a nice selection of flavors. We wanted to order one of every flavor. The cinnamon rolls were tasty but a tad too sweet for me to eat an entire roll. The chocolate chip cookie dough was the right amount of sweetness tho. It was good and I’d definitely go back.“

Regular customers always make me feel right at home as they welcome me with a warm smile and a bom dia!...while personnel keep order prep, the customer line moving and the tables happy with freshly baked out of this world breads, pastries, coffees, breakfasts and sandwiches. I Visit NJ frequently and while I'm there, I drive to Calvalo's early EVERY morning to have my warm Pastel de Nata (as good as the best in Portugal) before they are gone. The baked goods won't let you down as you're sure to walk out after eating with....Natas, buns, soft cinnamon breads, hearty all grain breads, almond breads, dense corn breads etc... Quality and consistency is guaranteed as you seldom see the owner in the front, always working the kitchen ensuring her team produces the best quality day in and out. Plenty of small round tables and a few comfy chairs and a couch. Very inviting. I sat across from a huge wall painting of Paris/Eiffel Tower on a misty day . I feel like I can walk into it and be instantly in Paris. Reminds me of the woody Allen movie. Everything looks amazing. I decided to test the French fare with a coffee and an apricot croissant . I took a seat, a few moments later, the server brought me my trial treat. One word: incroyable The croissant was (emphasize the word 'was') buttery soft & lite, several delicate slices of apricot and filled with a creamy vanilla? Pudding. It's gone. I devoured each bite and my mouth was pleased. The coffee is amazing (I don't know what brand) perfect with the heavenly croissant. I'll be back many times. The prices aren't too bad too. The only thing I would ask for is better containers- I ordered takeout and the liquid from the chicken stew almost spilled out of the container all over my outfit!
