And the Ube is good to right in the middle of town. “I’m glad I stopped by on a whim. I was greeted by a small, cozy cafe and got a yummy London fog latte, which had a good strong lavender flavor. Pets are welcomed, which I found out when a cute poodle walked in and jumped on the couch. There is a parking lot, which is a huge bonus in NB. My only issue is that sometimes this place is too busy xD. It’s super popular and frequented by Rutgers students, so finding a table and navigating around the tables may be hard :(.I didn’t see any Iranian/Persian sweets or specials but I guess I wasn’t looking closely enough.“

“Let's play a game: Amanda's top 5 foods: -cinnamon rolls -biscuits and gravy -ribeyes -fried scallops -crab legs Ruby's has at least one of those. My local FB group posted a quick review of the cinnamon rolls so I had to check for myself. When I got there, no rolls were in the display case. I was just about to try something else when the person working the register told me there were some that had just been baked. I ordered two because. I walked back to my car to enjoy them by the fall leaves like a bootleg Hallmark movie. They were delicious. Soft and fluffy, lightly glazed, and not overly sweet. I loved them. So much so I went back the next day but they only had them unglazed. So I had to pass. Side note: they also have the festive Canada Dry flavors you only find during the holidays. Love that. This is a cute neighborhood spot. You can even see the ladies in the back kneading the dough and making the pastries. I'll def be back to support it! “It's been a week and I'm still thinking about the Brioche Custard - Cream. It's a pillowy doughnut, filled with a vanilla bean custard and has a croissant top. I didn't intend to eat the whole thing, but I did. Sorry, not sorry! I also ordered the big coconut. It's a tender brioche bun that is long and very lightly sweet. It was excellent! I sampled the Matcha tiramisu and was wowed by it. I got a Jasmine latte and also loved it. Everything I tried was fantastic. I plan to return soon. The person that helped me was so kind and patient. The store is very organized and has a great vibe. It's an Asian bakery, that also serves tea and coffee. Everything is individually wrapped, and you bring what you want to purchase up to the counter. Their desserts are so fresh and different. I'm typically not a fan of Asian desserts, but these were best in class.“

“I've only ordered the rocher cake from them so far. Service was great, the website at the time said there is at least 48 hours turnaround time. I reached out to ask if I can get it sooner and they saved one for me! Communication was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful when I picked up my cake. The cake itself is really rich so if you love ferrero rocher and chocolate cake in general this is the cake for you! Personally it's too sweet for my liking, but I would love to try other cakes as well. It is on the pricier side. Would love to come back and try their coffee and pastries!“
“This was my first time having a mochinut and it was absolutely delightful!!! Their taro mochinut has been my favorite flavor so far. The texture is sooo good. “Okay I've only been in the area for a few months but so far this is literally my favorite restaurant in a 20-min radius. Portions are HUGE, food is always delicious and well-seasoned, everything is affordable (you can get an $11 lunch special) and their breakfast is just as good as their dinner (which is amazing). I eat here like twice a week now and if I had more money or lived closer I would eat breakfast here every day. I've only done takeout and delivery so I don't know how table service is, but the cashier is always helpful and asks if we want hot sauce/pink sauce, so I'd guess it's good! I mean even if they yelled at me I'd still come back, the food is just THAT good haha“

Jamilli was so sweet and helpful, that she gave us such a nice experience on our trip back north. The cake was gorgeous and the cookies were soft and amazing. She even took extra time to add strawberries and bananas on top of the cake bc that's what the bday boys favorite was. And, she even carried it out to my car, and gave my daughter a free loaf of bread she was eyeing up. I cannot thank them enough for making the last minute bday plans go over so well.
