“The desserts and coffee at Pastry Lu are absolutely delicious and high quality. Over Thanksgiving, I enjoyed their apple pie which was magnificent and addictive. They always welcome you with a polite smile and when you look at all their desserts and pastries, you have to take your time because it’s hard to choose. You owe it to yourself to sit and eat your tasty delight there. They present your food and coffee in a beautiful wooden tray. It’s elegant and relaxing. I sat there today and felt as if I was in a European café. I had the strawberry cheesecake which was divine and the Mighty Mocha Hot Chocolate (a combo of coffee and hot chocolate). I added whip cream and fell in love with it. I’ll be going back. I had to refrain from getting two in a row. But this place is worth any extra holiday calories. I adore this bakery and am happy it’s in town. Also a great place to get a coffee or pastry on your way to the train since it’s right by NJ Transit. It’s perfect.“

“I can't say enough about how amazing this place is! I have ordered a variety of items, and the last being a (cinnamon bun) cake for Father's Day. My family loved it and had never heard of it! They were so impressed with the taste and presentation. I ordered a large cake with fruit, candy, and pretzel toppings, and the store obliged my request of spelling my husbands initials with fruit. “We cannot thank Angie and her wonderful staff enough for my sister's bridal shower! Angie and everyone were very attentive to our wants and needs in making this the best bridal shower for my sister Natalie. From the food to the decor, Angie's was the perfect place to host our party.

When arriving, we had very minimal setup to finish on our end, as Angie's decorated perfectly to our taste, so elegant and clean, and cannot thank them enough for even going out of their way to move the display refrigerator out of our space for maximum room.

The products are much more refined than other establishments and on par with deserts, which you would find at a celebrity chef's restaurant, minus the cost. I find the cookies delicious and better tasting than any other I have seen around town, and the service is impeccable. The bakery is inviting, clean, and nostalgic for old-school charm. “This was my first time having a mochinut and it was absolutely delightful!!! Their taro mochinut has been my favorite flavor so far. The texture is sooo good. It's both chewy like mochi and doughy like a donut, the perfect mixture of both! Not too heavy and not too sweet. And their variety of flavors is amazing and unique! My dad answered the door and had a pleasant conversation due to the friendly nature. So much so that he raved about it when I came home. Not only were the cupcakes delicious, well presented and enjoyed by all, the interactions with my family really made it all worthwhile. “I am very happy I took a chance on sunmerry. I’ve had sunmerry in Taiwan, and the products were very good there.

I ordered a taro pudding cake, and sunmerry delivered. The cream was light and airy, and not heavy/oily(like the frosting on the cakes at Paris baguette). The taro was actual taro paste, and the pudding was not overwhelming. It was the first time I finished a slice of cake with the frosting altogether.
