“I saw some guy post that he liked the ham and cheese empanadas. I went because of that and they were really good. It's a good place to grab breakfast to go, before a work day. Wake up early and stop in. They have a nice assortment of drinks, like avena fresca, an oatmeal which is milky sweet and tastes of cinnamon, but they also have a water-based Quaker style, and other things.“
“I have yet to try the bakery part but every time I have gone I’ve seen individuals or small groups of friends enjoying their sweet breads and coffee. It usually smells like good Latino sweet bread, yum! There’s always people there, no matter what time/day I’ve gone but the tables and space make for it not feel crowded. That’s always nice! I have enjoyed every meal I’ve had here. I’ve had traditional Hispanic breakfasts with my daughter. Which I’m picky about but they did a great job, and served me a nice quantity of avocado which I loved caused other places show a nice amount on the menu picture and serve a skinny slice but they didn’t :) i also LOVEED their sopa de res, which I also don’t enjoy at restaurants but one day I went with my dad and the place smelled so good, like fresh soup, and I enjoyed the whole thing. My other favorite from this place, and also why I recommend everyone to come here is their churrasco con tortilla de harina!!! Or just say tortilla de harina con carne asada. My fav from this place. Must try! I’m Guatemalan by the way and I’m not a fan of places that make Guatemalan/central American food but this place is special for that. ♥️“

“We ordered a Rasmalai cake for our Sons 18 Birthday and we were pleasantly surprised with the cake. It looked beautiful and everyone was excited. The bigger surprise came when we ate it, it was moist, soft and perfect amount of sugar. It was not too sweet which is major concern we have with many cakes in past. Flavors were good but not overpowering or dominating. Perfectly balanced cake that everyone loved.Thanks once again for this beautiful and tasty cake and we will certainly order this cake again.“
“I’m glad I stopped by on a whim. I was greeted by a small, cozy cafe and got a yummy London fog latte, which had a good strong lavender flavor. Pets are welcomed, which I found out when a cute poodle walked in and jumped on the couch. There is a parking lot, which is a huge bonus in NB. My only issue is that sometimes this place is too busy xD. It’s super popular and frequented by Rutgers students, so finding a table and navigating around the tables may be hard :(.I didn’t see any Iranian/Persian sweets or specials but I guess I wasn’t looking closely enough.“

“Let's play a game: Amanda's top 5 foods: -cinnamon rolls -biscuits and gravy -ribeyes -fried scallops -crab legs Ruby's has at least one of those. My local FB group posted a quick review of the cinnamon rolls so I had to check for myself. When I got there, no rolls were in the display case. I was just about to try something else when the person working the register told me there were some that had just been baked. I ordered two because. I walked back to my car to enjoy them by the fall leaves like a bootleg Hallmark movie. They were delicious. Soft and fluffy, lightly glazed, and not overly sweet. I loved them. So much so I went back the next day but they only had them unglazed. So I had to pass. Side note: they also have the festive Canada Dry flavors you only find during the holidays. Love that. This is a cute neighborhood spot. You can even see the ladies in the back kneading the dough and making the pastries. I'll def be back to support it! “It's been a week and I'm still thinking about the Brioche Custard - Cream. It's a pillowy doughnut, filled with a vanilla bean custard and has a croissant top. I didn't intend to eat the whole thing, but I did. Sorry, not sorry! I also ordered the big coconut. It's a tender brioche bun that is long and very lightly sweet. It was excellent! I sampled the Matcha tiramisu and was wowed by it. I got a Jasmine latte and also loved it. Everything I tried was fantastic. I plan to return soon. The person that helped me was so kind and patient. The store is very organized and has a great vibe. It's an Asian bakery, that also serves tea and coffee. Everything is individually wrapped, and you bring what you want to purchase up to the counter. Their desserts are so fresh and different. I'm typically not a fan of Asian desserts, but these were best in class.“

“I've only ordered the rocher cake from them so far. Service was great, the website at the time said there is at least 48 hours turnaround time. I reached out to ask if I can get it sooner and they saved one for me! Communication was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful when I picked up my cake. The cake itself is really rich so if you love ferrero rocher and chocolate cake in general this is the cake for you! Personally it's too sweet for my liking, but I would love to try other cakes as well. It is on the pricier side. Would love to come back and try their coffee and pastries!“

“This was my first time having a mochinut and it was absolutely delightful!!! Their taro mochinut has been my favorite flavor so far. The texture is sooo good.
