“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

“Great coffee shop! Everything is organic in the shop. Love their cold brew Shandy, which you can customize with their various organic syrups throughout the entire year. Also their bacon breakfast sandwich and large crumble cookies (they have four or five different kinds) are to die for. And their organic lemonade is also awesome! And the barista’s know their stuff. I also like their grab and go organic sandwiches.“

“My hubby and I came here for lunch. Once we sat down, we were immediately greeted by our server Austin. I cannot tell you how amazing he was. From the second we sat down until the moment we left, he was outstanding. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the food and patient. He gave such great suggestions and I followed his suggestions. I got the quesadilla and my hubby got the rise and shine. Both were so so good! The quesadilla was DELICIOUS. I had it with a sauce on the side and it was amazing. We also spoke with the manager James who was so so nice and professional and just such a pleasure to speak with. Hands down recommend this restaurant and if you are a nice person, ask for Austin!“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. “The BEST Baklava in the area. This place is always spotlessly clean and the staff is fantastic. They are polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store has several different kinds of Baklava, its selection of Turkish Delights is quite plentiful - and everything always tastes fresh. You can buy just one or two pieces, or they will make a nice mixed box of whatever you request. I have been there many times, and will certainly be going there again, especially during the holidays to buy some of their items as gifts for other people. The Turkish Coffee is great, too.“

Today, I used the restroom. It was very clean; however, there was no soap to wash my hands. The soap dispensers were empty and filled with water.

We tried a bit of everything — lattes, an espresso, cinnamon rolls, the chili, broccoli cheddar soup, brioche, a birria taco, and a pineapple tea — and every single thing was delicious. It’s a small place, with tables. A surprisingly large menu, with lots of choices. Gabriela took our order, which was made on the spot and well packaged for the trip home.
