“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

Perfectly sweet with just the right kick. And you have to try the Sean Sebastian cheesecake, it’s next level. I’m not a big cheesecake fan either. The vibe is great, the quality is there, and you can tell they really care about what they’re serving. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. “Absolutely stunning experience! Arden was so friendly and helpful right off the bat - they had a ton of recommendations, so it was easy to work through my options. After I ordered, I made my way to the eating area, which was bright, airy and clean. Service was very fast and I had my (absolutely delicious) latte in just a couple minutes.

The cake prices are actually super reasonable for what you get as well. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ve got to come here. I wish I lived closer, because I would come here much more often! They do offer savory bites as well, which I’ll try next time 😋“

“Boxwood Cafe is a gem! The owner has created a high quality coffee shop and the employees are very friendly. I like to stop by for a latte and a baked good (scone, cookie, or blueberry bar) and sit outside at one of the side tables. Pre-Covid, they hosted open mic night and quiz night every month. Now Steve hosts a monthly Zoom Quiz Night and it is so much fun! A great locally owned cafe.“

“We want here after it looked intersesting. We have tried the tres leches caramel and pistachio ones. The caramel one is a deification 10/10. Not to sweet and super light cake. A delightful treat I always plot with someone after dinner. The pistachio one is like a 7/10. Honestly could use more sweetness since the nuts made it kind of bland and bitter. They have a lot of variety but never tried it. The interior is very nice and have these beautiful Turkish lamps. Would reccommend!“

Its a small cafe, but offers enough essentials. They sell pizzas, empandas, burgers, fries... as well healthy juice bar and variety drink options.

But their main feature is the acai bowls - acai, pitahaya or coconut base options. There's a handful of pre-built choices (loaded with fruits, granola, nutella or peanut butter) or create your own. Quick and efficient and beautifully prepared... our Berrytella and Dragon Kiwi bowls came out fresh and delicious.

Will definitely be back, and might even convince me to actually use the gym.“

“I went to this cafe for the first time with my friends and I found it very enjoyable. The poke bowls and tea are delicious although it can be a bit pricey. They have 3 ordering stations and private seating places which are perfect for studying but a bit dark lowkey. They also have free water which is a blessing. Parking is also easy to find🙏.“
