The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. The Mexi-Avo toast was so filling and the flavors melted together so nicely. Don’t forget the decor inside is so cozy, boho/havana vibe and perfect for a date or girl’s brunch. 10/10“

I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. “The Fro Yo cafe in Matawan is my happy place. I love the decor and the nostalgic atmosphere. The frozen yogurt is delicious and authentic and the topping bar is always so clean and organized with lots of variety. I especially appreciate that the fresh fruit is consistently high quality. Their attention to detail with customer service is exemplary! It's the little things, like having a plastic rewards card instead of a paper one and the more premium cup and spoon option, that make Fro Yo Cafe such an enjoyable experience. The staff are really accommodating, helpful, and friendly! I recently went in when Sydney and Derek were working and they both made my experience so seamless and positive. Sydney goes the extra mile to assist customers and is clearly very competent at her job. It does not seem like any of these details should matter at a frozen yogurt cafe, but honestly coming to Fro Yo Cafe can be the highlight of my week sometimes. “I went to this cafe for the first time with my friends and I found it very enjoyable. The poke bowls and tea are delicious although it can be a bit pricey. They have 3 ordering stations and private seating places which are perfect for studying but a bit dark lowkey. They also have free water which is a blessing. Parking is also easy to find🙏.“

I like to stop by for a latte and a baked good (scone, cookie, or blueberry bar) and sit outside at one of the side tables. Pre-Covid, they hosted open mic night and quiz night every month. Now Steve hosts a monthly Zoom Quiz Night and it is so much fun! A great locally owned cafe.“

My friends and family raved about the triple chocolate cake i picked up for my sisters birthday and my best friend and i enjoy a quiet breakfast and cafe on the weekends! What made our visit really memorable was the staff member Misheel (please forgive me if I spelled your name wrong!) who made absolutely sure our food was satisfactory. When we picked up our food, he made sure we knew that we could come to them with any concerns or questions. I got up at one point to get some butter for my bread and some dressing for my salad, and he was super accommodating. He also came by to check on us as we were eating. Really stellar service, I’m super impressed!“

I am an absolute fan however of any restaurant that has consistent great customer service on all fronts from supervisor to the kitchen crew. The cleanliness and layout also wonderful. They have self service if you are the type in a rush however my preference is to deal with people . I can only say be patient when waiting for someone to assist but overall great experience each time so far.“

This place looks like a rest stop restaurant. It’s connected to a pizzeria and bakery i think.

But I will say……. I had the BEST cold brew here. So flavorful and had sugar free syrups!

I got the cold brew with oatmilk and sugar free vanilla syrup and I finished the whole thing!

I typically only drink half my coffee due to acid reflux but man, the woman who made my drink. THANK YOU.
