“Easily a 5 star experience every time I go. The coffee is super smooth, well balanced, and consistently made right. My go to is the brown sugar shaken espresso, and it never misses. Perfectly sweet with just the right kick. And you have to try the Sean Sebastian cheesecake, it’s next level. I’m not a big cheesecake fan either. The vibe is great, the quality is there, and you can tell they really care about what they’re serving. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. “I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

“Absolutely stunning experience! Arden was so friendly and helpful right off the bat - they had a ton of recommendations, so it was easy to work through my options. After I ordered, I made my way to the eating area, which was bright, airy and clean. Service was very fast and I had my (absolutely delicious) latte in just a couple minutes.

The cake prices are actually super reasonable for what you get as well. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ve got to come here. I wish I lived closer, because I would come here much more often! They do offer savory bites as well, which I’ll try next time 😋“

“We want here after it looked intersesting. We have tried the tres leches caramel and pistachio ones. The caramel one is a deification 10/10. Not to sweet and super light cake. A delightful treat I always plot with someone after dinner. The pistachio one is like a 7/10. Honestly could use more sweetness since the nuts made it kind of bland and bitter. They have a lot of variety but never tried it. The interior is very nice and have these beautiful Turkish lamps. Would reccommend!“

“Lifehack - although you need a membership to use the facilities inside the YMCA, anyone can come in and get their snack fix (workout optional).

Its a small cafe, but offers enough essentials. They sell pizzas, empandas, burgers, fries... as well healthy juice bar and variety drink options.

But their main feature is the acai bowls - acai, pitahaya or coconut base options. There's a handful of pre-built choices (loaded with fruits, granola, nutella or peanut butter) or create your own. Quick and efficient and beautifully prepared... our Berrytella and Dragon Kiwi bowls came out fresh and delicious.

Will definitely be back, and might even convince me to actually use the gym.“

“I went to this cafe for the first time with my friends and I found it very enjoyable. The poke bowls and tea are delicious although it can be a bit pricey. They have 3 ordering stations and private seating places which are perfect for studying but a bit dark lowkey. They also have free water which is a blessing. Parking is also easy to find🙏.“

Amy and I had seafood soup lunch; my favorite so far here. Really excellent. My wife liked it as well, large portion we had to bring some of it home. The seafood tasted fresh and the spicing was memorable. Excellent broth. ($17) I also had a breakfast. Sort of an American scrambled eggs, kind of breakfast and it was good ($7:50). Potatoes were outstanding. Yummy freash coffee. My second lunch was the Costa Rican style tacos, which were very good. First time I’ve had that. I had took a photo which I’ll put on the review. Came with french fries which were nicely done. ($12:50) Service all three times so it was excellent. Restrooms clean. The inside has a old-time diner look to it. Cleary was probably diner for a long time. They still maintain a more American traditional diner menu in addition to the Costa Rican themed dishes. It was a nice surprise for Amy and Foundmourselves in Somerville, I as we were looking for something downtown. I sat outside for the second lunch and it was great. You’ll see you in the picture. Owners are present. I like the old time diner look. Definitely a bias of mine being a diner guy so I gave him five stars for that🙂 (FYI: You won’t see too many bad reviews from me. I tend to only post reviews of places I like. Also, I only do reviews generally after visiting an establishment three times. I occasionally make exceptions. My first job was in the restaurant kitchen business, and everybody has a bad day.)“
