“Took my Rutgers student to dinner tonight as a midweek treat. Had a delicious dinner! He was craving butter chicken, and I enjoyed the kadai chicken. Both dishes were beautifully seasoned, the chicken was very moist, and the portions were just right. We finished with gulab jamun, a perfect ending. Will definitely be back! Service was great, very casual atmosphere, not fancy but worth a visit! Sadly, they were out of many of the specialty drinks because of a delivery issue, but it did not make our meal less enjoyable.”

“Poke Bowl in Hillsborough is much better. The poke bowl topping options are limited at Poké star. When you order online, you can only choose one or two, and at Poké bowl you can get as much as you want of any of the toppings. Poke star gave me what I guess is supposed to be sushi rice but it just looks like regular white rice to me. It’s not sticky. Also, the mixed greens consisted of lettuce and huge pieces of spinach with thick, long stems that they should have cut off before serving. Flavor of the tuna was ok. Only saw literally 2 sesame seeds, but the sauce was very good and the place was clean and people were nice. $20 for one protein plus avocado here and it’s $17 for the same at Poke Bowl.”

“Came here with 3 other people while we were visiting the area. We all got a sushi roll lunch special and then shared the scallion pancake and fried gyoza. It was all delicious. I got the salmon/avocado roll and chicken tempura roll. So fresh. I also saw they had an all you can eat option and will probably come back to try it when I'm back in the area.”

“I came here with my husband. Drinks were great. He ordered a Caesar salad and I ordered their Hot Nashville Chicken sandwich. My husband laughed because I had no idea that Nashville hot meant HOLY HOT lol. But I was not disappointed. This was the juicy, best chicken sandwich I'd had anywhere that I can recall in my 32 years.. And I worked in food service for 13 years. The service was also phenomenal. There was a rowdy bunch of younger ones at the bar that eventually got asked to leave. But she kindly let us know that we were welcome to move our table if we so desired. We are definitely coming back again.”
