These weren’t your typical store bought pre-frozen raviolis. No sir. Fresh made and stuffed with lobster. The chicken Murphy was enough for two people! Amazing. “I had an overall wonderful experience at Colonial Diner. The food was better than your average diner and the atmosphere was very notable. I spoke to who I believe to be the manager there about the place and he pointed out the original floors and tiles in the building. The diner had a long bar stretched across the building with multiple TVs playing movies. The staff was very friendly and my order was taken and came very quickly. I showed up about a little over an hour before closing and the restaurant did not have many people in there. The parking lot was large and had many spots. I came on a Thursday night and the staff was very quick everything was done almost immediately after sitting down.“

The parking lot had only a couple cars: If I had driven here then would have been ample space. From the outside, the place looked considerably plain, for a Manno-produced dining car (it was likely bricked with stucco)---the interior, in which clean stools and countertops lined the walls, was not much different, though there was a plethora of mid-late 1900s memorabilia for decoration. As soon I walked in, the two staff manning the counter and grill asked what I wanted; there were many regulars who already knew, though I wasn't one of them.I ordered a large coffee, Cali cheeseburger, and fries, which cost ~$15. I took a seat at the main counter (only 2 seats there), and only a couple minutes afterward was my meal ready. The coffee was standard, but the burger and fries are to die for---this burger is the type that melts beautifully. The meat synthesizes with the rest of the ingredients to create a harmonious sensation of flavor with each bite, equally juicy and savory in tandem with sour sweetness. The fries were especially crispy, with an audible crunch in each bite; their only downside was the amount of salt I put on them. Though pricy, it is impossible to go wrong with burger and fries at White Rose.“

Basically you have to plan to go there, rather than wander in aimlessly. The restaurant was not crowded, so we had a seat and were able to place our orders right away. The restaurant is clean with plenty of room to move about. I had an angus burger baha style and a side of Spanish rice and my wife got the angus burger as protein on top of a salad. The server brought our orders promptly to our table and commented that he had never seen someone order a burger baha style. Frankly, the flavors blended very well, in my opinion. The Spanish rice was delicious and came with little bits of chouriço. My wife enjoyed the freshness of the salad as well as the portion. Enough left over for a lunch. We will definitely be back.“

Placed my order via an app and was happy to see it arrived on time. We ordered the drunken grandma pie, chicken Parm pizza, and an order of chicken fingers and fries. The chicken Parm pizza was decent. The chicken was nice and juicy and they used mozzarella and ricotta cheese which was a combo that worked beautifully together. The sauce is a bit underwhelming as it didn't have much flavor. The texture on the pizza was pretty good. The drunken grandma pie was delicious! The vodka sauce was flavorful and the cheese was really good. Decent texture on it as well. Not as crispy as I would like but still pretty good. It has a good balance of chewy and crispy. As for the chicken fingers and fries, it was pretty standard. Nothing special about it but the chicken had a decent bread to meat ratio. I've had this place once before but only had a plain slice. It was pretty forgettable but I'm happy to see that their other pizzas are good now.“

If you’re a crispy fries type of person these are perfect nothing burned or too crispy where it’s inedible, perfect. The only thing I didn’t like was it wasn’t busy to have an idea of atmosphere and the customer service was good for the most part. I asked if they had a menu with some pictures or description bc they only have like 6 things on display on the screens above the cashier and the kiosk wasn’t working I’m sure bc everything where there would picture was greyed out. The response I got was “no we don’t have one” and “ You need pictures ….”“

But service is fast and overall it's a good place for a quick burger and fries.The burgers might be lacking a little in terms of juiciness, but overall they have great taste, and I would recommend the Smokeshow. I think the onion ring gets overpowered, though.The Cajun fries didn't taste very Cajun to me, but they were alright. I would compare them to Five Guys fries. The Cajun fries have similar texture but are lacking somewhat in taste. “Went there with about four of my friends and we had a good time. I ordered the banana flip smoothie and the buffalo panini. The wait wasn't long and there was plenty of seating so the five of us found the perfect table to accommodate us. The seating was clean and very comfortable by the window with plenty of sunshine. We were the only customers there so we felt very comfortable. The smoothie was great as always, with the right consistency not too thick easy to drink, and sweet. The sandwich was okay I felt the chicken was hard to bite into at times and I wish I had more blue cheese but other than that it was plated and presented neatly. Would go again.“
