“The first time I visited here was about 2 years ago. Incredible BBQ and Pickles. The Management and Staff are incredible, the BBQ, delicious. I lived in Kansas City (BBQ Capitol of the World), and in Florida for years. This restaurant would still be great anywhere because they have mastered not only a great product, but the staff and management have also mastered incredible Customers Service. It's been rated the best BBQ in NJ for several years. I would argue one of the best BBQ restaurants in the USA.“

I got the mild chicken slider. Mild was the right amount of heat for me. Hot but not to hot. One thing I'll note, each meal does not come with a drink. This is very puzzling. Other than that, we will definitely be back.“

“Taco Empreso is number one in all NJ & NY my absolute favorite spot. Not only is the food top tier but the drinks are amazing too. The piña colada is my favorite, the churros are delicious, and the tacos with mango are a must try. Even though the place is always packed, they’re always fast, and that says a lot you can tell everything is made fresh. The customer service is excellent, and Joanna is wonderful. She always makes sure my family and I feel satisfied every time we go. Taco Empreso, truly the best.“

They "get it" when it comes to balanced flavor, variety of veggies and even the way they cut them with a special slicer was perfect. Truly Thai is now our go-to Thai food destination. “Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. “daFilippo's is a hidden gem of a restaurant that has been my family's special occasion standard for many year's. The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

They do take a long time to prepare, but just a little bit of recyclable packaging, the fresh clean air in the space, and the absolutely beautiful presentation of the drinks really make it feel like a special visit. “Went to Fresh Tiki Bar in Somerville for ice cream and wow, did not disappoint. It’s rich and creamy, you can just tell it’s made with good ingredients, not the cheap stuff. Not overly sweet either, which I loved. The tropical flavors were a fun twist, definitely not your average ice cream shop. Portions were generous too, no complaints there. Staff was super friendly and fast. Great little spot for a hot day, already thinking about my next visit. If you’re around Somerville and want something sweet, this is the move.“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“Went to Flounder Brewing Co. on April 17 for a live show and was genuinely blown away. The venue strikes a perfect balance between intimate and energetic. You are close enough to really feel the music, but there’s still plenty of room to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the whole place had a welcoming, unpretentious vibe that made it easy to settle in. Of course, the beer lineup didn’t disappoint either, solid variety and quality across the board.
