daFilippo's is a hidden gem of a restaurant that has been my family's special occasion standard for many year's. The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care.

This restaurant is a go to spot in Somerville. Adequate parking is available and the ambiance is sedate. The menu is not overwhelming with choices, and every dish is excellently prepared. The service is friendly, and the hostess visits every table. Just a wonderful, affordable dining experience.
