“This restaurant is a gem. Out of the 30 or so ramen places I have tried in NJ, Sakana makes the top 3 easily. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant, the service is quick, and the food is excellent. Prices are competitive as well, highly recommend.“
“The food here was so delicious! My whole family enjoyed the food very much! We ordered a lot of food and shared everything. The teriaki salmon was perfect and so were the giozas and the sushi and the hibachi shrimp...The service was also nice, the waiters were very kind and patient and the food came out very quickly, despite the fact that we ordered almost 10 different portions. There was nice and not too loud music, so we could enjoy it while having a conversation. We will definitely come again!“
“I'm a trucker and my wife and I come here every time we come through the area. We pick up at a warehouse nearby very frequently. We've NEVER had a bad experience here. The plates are always presented like artwork and the sushi and hibachi options are fantastic and yummy.“
“I picked up my dinner order and couldn't be happier with the food and service! This is a small family owned business in my neighborhood. The food is always fresh, prepared with care and delicious. The service is friendly and helpful. The owner even delivers your food to the car if it's not ready when you get there. It's a little pricey compared to other places around here, but the food is definitely a notch above as well. There's an additional charge for ordering online, so call in your order if you're looking to save a few bucks. I highly recommend Miso Sushi!Vegetarian options: There was 1 vegetarian option in the sushi section and I in the tempura section. There's a tofu teriyaki on rice dish as well. I didn't look for more as that was enough of a selection for the vegetarian members of my family. All the dishes were tasty and filling!“
“I’ve only ever gotten take out but the inside is nice. This is our favorite sushi place in the area; hard to nail down why but ingredients may just be fresher, who knows. I think the prices are very reasonable.Outside of the sushi we thought sides of fried rice and lo mein were worth it but were lessImpressed with wings/dumplings but maybe it is just because they don’t travel well.“
“Two small problems,no dine in anymore, pandemia killed it...,fish quality suddenly went down from a very good level before. We always take chirashi sushi and can see the difference.Plz don't cut corners even given substantial fish price inflation?.“
“This is hands down my favorite local sushi spot. Whether you sit in or order take out, the food is always delicious. My favorite roll is definitely the yellowtail special. It has yellowtail, ikura and avocado. I havent see any other sushi place do this combo before but its def a must try. The ikura here is flavorful and the uni is also fresh! Service is great even when its a little busy. Definitely stop by if youre passing through the area and have a sushi craving.“
“There are many sushi places in the area, but we always come back to Yokohama. Every time we go, we know we will get delicious sushi at a fraction of the price compared to the restaurants around but the quality is still just as good, if not better! We got a seat at the bar, where we watched the sushi chefs work their magic. Fun atmosphere and delicious food!“
“Good food served fast and the service was good except I think I had like three different servers which I thought was a bit chaotic. I think they have some issues with managing their staff who goes where Etc. I took home in order of pork buns but it was just like a little meatball of pork inside a lot of bun so that was great but the kimchi was excellent. the prices were a little high but it's a very nice place.“
“Best sushi spot in North Brunswick. Amazing quality, amazing prices, amazing service. They have tons of veg options and also have a great lunch special. Rolls are priced very fairly and taste amazing every time. My favorite is the spicy tuna!Vegetarian options: Sweet potato roll is great!“
“This hole in the wall Somerville sushi restaurant is top notch. While it isn't the cheapest, the price is fair and it's always very fresh. Please don't go so there will be a table open for my party. Just kidding, but seriously.“
“Visited for lunch and just as good as I remembered. Had to get the Spring Breeze roll - love this combination and have never seen it anywhere else. The lunch box is a great deal too at around 14 bucks. The also have a lunch special where you can pick 2-3 regular rolls with soup and salad. We were able to find street parking out front but if you can't remember there is a public lot nearby.“
“Unfortunately New Owners and Menu! This Restaurant was Once My Favourite! Now Suzuki Sushi in Metuchen, N.J. is Number ☝️Update-I went back on January of 2024 and once again...I was told you can ask for anything that not in the Menu! Why? They don't have the same recipesOf the Original SushiO. Now it's always Empty and the service is just Ok.“
“I've come here abt 6 times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person. The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup always tastes good and fresh, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places. The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. I love the salmon from here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls. They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too.ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee. Coming here with 4 people or less is worth it when they all eat their money's worth.“
“Have been twice in the last two months and it has been excellent both times. The staff is incredibly friendly and fish is very fresh. Have gone for dinner on week nights both times and have not needed reservations. They DO have a full liquor license. They also have gluten free soy sauce available upon request. Would highly recommend!“
“The teriyaki chicken and beef bento box is so delicious and has so much food to enjoy. The spring rolls and dumplings are tasty, and I like to mix the salad with the hot rice and meat. I always order the tempura fried California roll, too. It's amazing. My food is always ready for me when I order it online and go pick it up. I don't order at traditionally busy times, so I've never had to wait long. Highly recommend. Great food, clean restaurant, and hard workers.“
“This was an amazing experience. And honestly the best hibachi I have ever had!! Our chef was hilarious and absolutely amazing. The food was amazing and our chef cooked the scallops PERFECTLY which is hard to get at hibachi sometimes. Everything was delicious and so full of flavors that I didn’t even need the sauces.“
“Editing my review since it's been a few years: this has easily become our new favorite spot for sushi, whether it be dining in or take out. The staff is always friendly, and everything is delicious and fresh. Just a note: the space inside is small, only a handful of tables.“
“Worth to Price. Everyone will have one or other option to eat. Visited multiple times, most of the times more than half of the seats are filled and busy. My kiddo every time ask to stop by because he likes jellies here. Left a star for hygiene. They maintain dim lighting not to identify the surroundings. But my concern is heavy wastage of foods in buffet.Kid-friendliness: They provide high chairs for kids.“
“Food is not bad because they are very much the same from any psedo-Japanese restaurants you go to. My family had lunch here and we liked the atmosphere. The staff is also friendly. The one complain is the unagi and the salmon have bones. Just becareful.“
“Sushi and sashimi here is still fresh and not super tiny. Considering the price, the all you can eat is still bang for your buck. Service was good and responsive. Did not take super long for our orders to come out. Satisfied my sushi craving!“
“The best small sushi place in the East Brunswick area! The waitress is a sweet heart and their all very friendly. The food is amazing and the price is super great. I personally recommend the Bento Box or the large platter if you have a big party.“
“This place is a hidden gem in a relatively quiet area of South Plainfield. The staff is so nice, and the sushi and hibachi plates are delicious. Always high quality fish and never a disappointing meal. Wish I could eat here every week. Thank you Hana Sushi team!“
“Great AYCE sushi! Service is quick and friendly -- just a warning though, if you order too much all at once, it might not all come (but they're trying to avoid food waste which I understand). The area it's in is very fun too so there's a lot to do before or after dinner.Parking: There's lots of spots but sometimes it can be busy“
“I made the mistake of ordering Chicken Teriyaki when I meant to order Chicken Katsu. When the order was ready for pick-up I told the owner that I was expecting 2 orders of Chicken Katsu. Even though it's my mistake, she generously offered to give me Chicken Katsu for free! I offered to give tip to thank her for her kind gesture, but she told me it's not necessary and said that it's good luck for the new year. All this happened when they were about to close, and it was a holiday! Other folks would have been annoyed but they went the extra mile by giving me free food. I will definitely be back, not just because the owner was very kind and generous, but because the food's good for food court and the portions are huge!“
“Overall a good hibachi experience. The restaurant offers a casual vibe and can be a bit loud. The service was great and attentive, including the hibachi performance it's. The food was good and the chef got everyone's order exactly as they wanted it. I gave the lychee mojito a try as that was a unique flavor I don't normally come by. It was pretty good, but the mango mojito was better, in my opinion. It's a little on the pricy side, but I would return to try some of the extensive menu offerings. :)“

“Like their sushi(especially specialty ones). Usually, do takeout. My last takeout was delayed for 40 min(first time ever) due to absolute "customer jam". Usually, they are half empty when I order, this time, they were packed, and there was a line waiting too.So despite huge delay - still 5 stars.. They provided me a small table after it became available, brought some tea while I waited, and even added some extras while being absolutely apologetic for the whole issue. Have no hard feeling whatsoever - guys really try their very best.“
“This is the place I go to for sushi and ramen, Taiwanese style. The taste is more delicate and refined. For sushi and ramen connoisseurs, there’s a subtle taste and texture difference between this restaurant and a Chinese owned sushi restaurant. And I’m a Chinese. I drive 30 minutes to eat here rather than go to half a dozen other sushi restaurants 10 minutes or less from my house.“
“I was in town for a business trip and by chance tried Social. When I first entered it was very quiet and not many people. However, we were greeted and seated at a nice table.Immediately given direction of the menu and ordered drinks, which were fabulous and presented beautifully! The menu items are a mixture of very interesting items. I was incredible surprise and the freshness of the salads and main course!Great option for a quite meal with impeccable service.“
“You can't go wrong with Suzuki. The sushi is always on point and my wife loves their Beef Negamaki! We do a lot of take out from there and the food quality is great as take out so I can only imagine how great it would be if we had time to dine in. Even though we haven't had time to dine in (we plan to in the near future) when I pick up our order the atmosphere in the restaurant is always so inviting. We will continue to order from this great restaurant and their staff is awesome!“
“I've order here a number of times and they never disappoint. My favorite is the spicy crunchy crab roll. Their milk tea and boba are much better than those at the new "creamery" that opened in town a while back. Everything tastes fresh!!!“
