“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. “This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. I've come here abt 20*** times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person.

The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup is good here too, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places.

The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. The salmon is good here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls.

They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too. I have some friends who don't like seafood but they still get the ayce.

ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee.“

I have been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant since I moved to this area but have so far been disappointed until today. By far the best Chinese food in the area. “One of our favorite Japanese restaurants. It is a small place in a shopping center with some seating (we have never had a problem getting seated and definitely plenty of folks who do pickup).

We usually get a mix of the vegetarian sushi options, different appetizers, and I always get their fried rice...it is my favorite. Our picker eater daughter is always excited to go here.
