The cashier was pretty friendly and helpful. Also, make sure to ask for hot sauce because they don’t have any out for you to grab yourself. One funny tip…hold onto your tray tight! The disposable trays are super slippery and your food will slide and glide around if you’re not careful.“

“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Ingredients for the poke bowl seem very fresh. Pineapple and mango are a couple of my favorite toppings. Also it’s awesome that they increased the number of ingredients that are free of charge to add to the poke bowl!

“I went with my family in a good mood for Mother's Day and my birthday. We went with 5 adults and 2 children. We came to $300 for our food, and my sister and I tipped twice, for a total of $100. After eating, I left the card on the table after paying. I found out after I got home, so I called right away and confirmed the card was there. Since then, money has been withdrawn from my account several times. I couldn't use the card. However, I was surprised by the amount of over $100 doordash payment, so I stopped the card in the evening. And I called the restaurant. But the boss never said he was sorry to me. We said we didn't use it and that we could report it. I am so embarrassed and angry. It's my fault for leaving the card behind, but it's a big fault for the person who stole and used the guest card. I want to tell you to be careful about what happened here. I don't want to go any longer to be safe in a place like this. And you won't be able to go.
