I came in this past weekend, (March 2026). I was eating very fresh sushi, rolls sashimi, the place is clean the service was exceptional. i was eating LOBSTER, so delicious. management was nice. I offered a suggestion of a lobster fork. I usually feel a bit weird after I go to buffets, but the food here to me was exceptional, and for $31.00 for a drink. per person. awesome. not many "filler foods" . neat and organized OCD
Food wasn't edible. Smelled and tasted awful. But the atmosphere was inviting.
I’m not from New Jersey but having a tiny rip in the corner of a bill doesn’t mean the serve couldn’t take it as a tip. Maybe about 1 cm long. The rip wasn’t anything of importance and the bill was still intact. No pieces were missing and we were told to tip another way. Our tip was denied?? I paid by card and still left a tip. I just never heard of such a thing.

Sakura is a great buffet restaurant serving Japanese and Chinese dishes at a fair price. The lunch buffet offers an astounding amount of delicious meal and dessert choices, including well-made sushi rolls and plentiful Chinese appetizers and entrees. Dessert options are varied, although some customers wish for more variety. While vegetarians may have limited choices, with the asparagus being noted as "out-of-this-world" great, meat-eaters will enjoy the extensive spread. The restaurant is busy and has a price range of $20-$30, making it a popular choice for many customers. The food is mostly fresh and well done, though some experiences may vary, as one customer mentioned cold food and tasteless options. The service is generally good, with waitstaff providing great service whenever requested. Kid-friendliness is noted, but wheelchair accessibility is uncertain. Overall, Sakura is a place many enjoy visiting.
