“Took my Rutgers student to dinner tonight as a midweek treat. Had a delicious dinner! He was craving butter chicken, and I enjoyed the kadai chicken. Both dishes were beautifully seasoned, the chicken was very moist, and the portions were just right. We finished with gulab jamun, a perfect ending. Will definitely be back! Service was great, very casual atmosphere, not fancy but worth a visit! Sadly, they were out of many of the specialty drinks because of a delivery issue, but it did not make our meal less enjoyable.“

“The unlimited thali was exceptional and had perfect blend of everything. Fish fry, chicken 555 and chicken kabab were too good. Kheer was exceptional. Special shout out to the staff who added that nice vibe to our visit and Kiran was really good, kind and suggested our mocktails which were too good. It was a very good experience for all of us. The manager Prasad Kadam ensures all goes well and all guests are happy. The staff members are very warmth and welcoming. Once this place is renovated in the coming months, it will have a brand-new Banquet hall to host the parties. I hope Chefs will introduce and add new food dishes to the catering menu.“

“Amazing naan bread!!!! It was the largest softest most flavorful naan I have ever had. Samosas and yellow dal were amazing. Main dishes come with a large container of rice. Each naan bread order comes with two large pieces. I highly recommend this restaurant and I wish I had found it sooner!!“

Ghee Roast Masala Dosa: just delightful, the potatoes inside, you can really taste the ghee, delicious

Sambhar: would like a few more veggies, but it was super tasty

Coconut Chutney: rich and flavorful, great consistency

Tomato Chutney: just yummmm

“Dosa Grill has hands down the best Indian food in the Syracuse area. As soon as you enter, you begin enjoying the rich aromas and friendly atmosphere. All their dishes are perfectly seasoned and carefully prepared. The buffet is extensive, with many of my favorites. “Had a wonderful dining experience at Thanjai Mess – Authentic South Indian Restaurant. The food was flavorful, fresh, and truly captured the taste of traditional South Indian cuisine.

We tried the Kola Urundai, which was absolutely authentic and delicious. The Mutton Thalappakatti Biryani and Ambur Chicken Biryani were both flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Lollipop was juicy, saucy, and packed with flavor. We also ordered the Vanjaram (King Fish) Fry, which was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and very tasty.

A special mention to the service from Mr Reddy, which was really good and made the overall experience even more pleasant.
