We have celebrated Diwali at our Parker Adult day center @ Somerset. We ordered our lunch from Nirvanis. Food was excellent.
I was little skeptical about Indian food as some of our participants trying Indian food first time and how spicy it will be it will be for them. I spoke with Niraj couple times. He was very diligent and took good care of our order. All foods were fresh hot and testy, not spicy at all and the amount of food was plenty.
I will definitely order again and recommend others to order food from them. Our team was 100% satisfied.“

“I live about 40 minutes south in Lawrenceville, and the food at Chatpati is worth the drive up.

Easily the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in Jersey despite the humble ambiance. Think fast casual, but with a culinary team that has deep respect, and love, for the food they create.

“On an recommendation from one of my known friend, ordered the food for an major event and it was very good among which Live Tandoor station was a big hit where guests enjoyed different varieties of Non-Veg and Veg kebabs made of authentic home made spices I believe with a smoky flavor which gave an extra add-on to the starters.
To the whole I say that, the event was 100% successful and all my friends and other guests loved the food A - Z which Shimla management provided with entrees, main course and desserts etc.
So, I truly recommend this to other people when asks and hope this Shimla catering services continues the same ambience and hospitality and would always be going to be my straight to go place for all my future events.

“This was an accidental find! Stopped by for a quick idly vada sambar and was blown away by how authentic the samar was (not like the watered down and tasteless version at most south Indianrestaurants). The idly were fresh and soft, and the vada was nice and crisp....just how it should be!
Unbeknownst to me, the place closes at 2:30pm for lunch, and that's when I got there. The very kind hostess still accommodated me and went out of her way to bring me an extra idly and sambar.
The prices on the menu are very reasonable as well.
It's a no frills, simple sit down restaurant and absolutely clean.

“We went for a weekend lunch buffet.. though the buffet price was a bit on the higher side, I feel like they have been able to consistently maintain the buffet quality over time. We have been coming here every once in a while for many years now. Most items were tasty and our parents also liked it. Only thing we miss over the years is the freshly fried crispy Mathi/Kozhuva fry in the buffet. This is easily the best Mallu buffet in the North Jersey area.“

“Visited this amazing spot close to home, thanks to my brother's recommendation for their Wednesday Dosa buffet! The buffet runs from 5:45 PM to 9:30 PM, and we arrived around 8:30. We kicked off with idly, wada, and a variety of chutneys and sambhar. Then came naan with paneer butter masala, uthapam, and samosas, which were all fantastic. They also offered two types of rice, rasam, chaat, and desserts like mango lassi, gulab jamun, and ice cream.

For dosa, you place an order separately—we tried the butter Mysore masala dosa, paneer masala dosa, and Madurai masala dosa, all of which were delicious. The buffet is priced at around $22 per person, and it's totally worth it. While the variety of items isn't vast, the quality more than makes up for it. The dining space was comfortable, and the service was very professional. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy some great vegetarian food, especially vegetarians! Tomato onion uttapa was too good.
Ginger chutney was something new for us, that too was liked by all of us.

“The name of this restaurant certainly brings back fond memories of Southern Indian “mess” concept with seriously good food. Did the name do justice? Let’s see. We catered two dishes from here for a summer party: Kadai Paneer and Paneer Biriyani. This is how I’d rate:
Quantity: 10/10 (Lot of paneer in Biriyani as well as the kadai paneer)
Quality: 9/10 (paneer pieces were soft in both biryani as well as the kadai paneer)
Flavor: 9/10 (The kadai paneer was a little on the spicy side for the weak hearted, but bursting with flavors of spices and browned onions. The paneer in biryani was fragrant with whole spices which shows they marinated it overnight. The Biriyani rice was also fragrant with real whole spices. Only thing, it would be even nicer if the rice was of slightly better basmati variety but that’s hard to achieve here in USA)
Cost: 10/10 considering the quantity and quality, the price was on point.

Recently, I also tried their tri-color paneer which was very flavorful and their vadas and paniyaram were simply mind-blowing!! Keep in mind, they are a small business so like any other restaurant, if there are too many bulk orders they might be a little late in serving you…and that just shows they’re the real deal with authentic Tamil food :)“

“We visited Sigri today for a dinner and ordered mix of 4 different types of samosas for starter. Chicken tikka bowl, paneer bowl, salmon bowl, and fried butter chicken as a main dish along with Mango Lassi and Cucumber Mint drink. We completed our dinner with Kadak Masala Chai and some Gulab Jamun for desert. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. You must try “Fried Butter Chicken Menu”. Mango lassi and cucumber mint drinks also were so flavourful and refreshing. Definitely will return to try more food and drinks next time.
