We tried the Peri Peri Vada Pav — vadas were great, but the pav and chutney could be better. Bhel was fresh and tasty. We even ordered Chinese Bhel, which had nice bits of Manchurian and paneer — the Manchurian pieces were a bit stiff, but overall it tasted good. We ordered Chole Kulcha but got Chole Naan instead, which was unexpected. Food overall is better than the competition, and definitely a place worth visiting!“

“Took my Rutgers student to dinner tonight as a midweek treat. Had a delicious dinner! He was craving butter chicken, and I enjoyed the kadai chicken. Both dishes were beautifully seasoned, the chicken was very moist, and the portions were just right. We finished with gulab jamun, a perfect ending. Will definitely be back! Service was great, very casual atmosphere, not fancy but worth a visit! Sadly, they were out of many of the specialty drinks because of a delivery issue, but it did not make our meal less enjoyable.“

“Last month I asked for recommendations for an Indian restaurant that had great vegan dishes. Clove Garden Garwood was highly recommended. I order 4 vegan dishes from their website tonight. I noted I was vegan online. I had also ordered Naan, (which I didn’t know contained dairy.) The owner took the time to call me and let me know it’s not vegan and made us Roti instead. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Rich, delicious, authentic … best meal I’ve ever had. And the employees were incredibly nice. Looking forward to trying the other vegan dishes next week!! They have a huge selection. If you haven’t tried it yet, I would 100% try their food!!!“
