“Chowpatty recently catered my wedding and their food and service was phenomenal! Not only did they create mouthwatering dishes, but they took into consideration of the type of food we were looking to serve our guests. They provided constructive feedback and went above and beyond to give us tasteful ideas that we hadn’t even thought of. The team expressed enthusiasm to give us the best experience we could ask for during one of the most important weekends of our lives. Chowpatty never treated our wedding as a job, but an event they were proud to serve. They continue to strive for the best and push beyond their limits to give everyone a truly, unforgettable experience. Thank you Chowpatty for giving our families and friends a weekend they are still reminiscing about! Purvi & Shiven“

“One of the best North Indian cuisine restaurants. Their curry is very good and they will adjust the spice level accordingly. Expect slow service since they have heavy delivery/online traffic.
Must haves - paneer bhurji, kaju masala, cheese butter masala, garlic naan and paneer chilli
Also try their amul cheese naan“

“Dimple's Bombay Talk is located in the heart of little India in Iselin Oak Tree road. This place in an institution as Indian version of New Jersey Diner, which has all vegetarian menu where you can get Indian classics of appetizers, sandwiches, dosa crepes, soups, Indo Chinese food, Indo Thai food, desserts and Indian true classics such as Pav Bhaji, Chole Bhature (a must try for first timers) to name a few.
On this visit, I ordered:
1. Sweet corn soup: 3/5 - Soup was not freshly made as the broth was very thick, spicy, and overfilled with sweet corn kernels. I have had this previously, and it made it differently and tasted fresh, which this version was not.
2. Dhai Puri: 6/5 - classic indian appetizers of small crisp puri filled with choles, diced potatoes, tomatoes, and onions and filled with sweet and green chutney, yougurt, spices and topped with fresh, savory and crunchy Sev bites. The version I had today was excellent, fresh, and it was made with care. I finished the entire plate by myself, which was a first.
3. Vegetable Hakka - classic Indian street food dish made with wheat noodles, fresh vegetables of Julian bell peppers, carrots, onions, cabbage and springs onions. This all sauted in large wok with blend of indian and chineses spices and sauces. The version I had today with extra vegetables was made to prefection with crisp cruch of vegetables, great chew of noodles all was nicely seasoned. I added some extra vinegar and hot sauce to enchance the flavor and increase the spicy level to my taste. This is an Indian classic, that Bombay Talk makes very well. (This dish should not be greasy it has to have a balance of oil that needs to cook the vegetables and noodles and sauces)
Overall, it was a great experience today as the restaurant was not busy with Diwali New Year celebrations and shopping outside. Try to come early before the peak of lunch and dinner start as food is made with more care as the cooks are not rushed.
One item I would like ownership to focus on is the greasyness of place. Chairs, tables, walls, and menus have this layer of greasyness makes surface sticky. The restaurant is constantly cleaning after every guest on tables and are constantly cleaning the floor and bathroom. However, with heavy use of oils to cook, open kitchen and closeness to patrons, greasness gets everywhere. Just need to improve on this.
Please visit this great family restaurant that has established itself as institution of Indian Food classics in New Jersey!“

“I have been to this place many times and they serve good jain (no onion, garlic and potato) food. They have lots of parathas to offer with a mix-n-match of at most 5 items. I had a jain platter this time and was surprised with the number if items it had. The quantity is amazing with 4 sabzi, rice and 2 parathas of your choice. Just gave a 4 star because the ambience is below average. They could work on that as well as on buying actual plates then using plastic plates and spoon.“

“After a long tour of the US, where we were tired of eating fast food, pizza, and burgers, we found this gem of a place in New Jersey. We ordered Nihari, nan alo paratha, and Chana (channa. I guessed they forgot to serve), but believe me, it was easily by miles the best Nihari ever I have tried in many places I have visited. Am residing in the Middle East for more than 2 decades but never come across such delicious food. Must visit place for tourists and residents. Hats off to the lady who is managing this place“

“Nagpuri Sahuji in Iselin, NJ, is a gem, renowned for its masterful saffron-infused Old Fashioned, an exquisite rarity. Their Puran Poli is exceptional, boasting a homemade taste with a generous filling and a thin, non-greasy cover. Not only is it authentically Sahuji, but it's also a haven for delicious food. Owners Neeraj and Swapna add a personal touch with their warm, down-to-earth hospitality. The ambiance and service are nothing short of five-star. A must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience“
