The restaurant management team realizes the importance of hospitality and really understands what is priority for the host of the party. I have hosted as well as attended parties here and I am amazed at the flexibility the owners offer. I can assure you that no other restaurant in the vicinity will be able to do what they do and that includes food and drinks packages (best price for the quality of food), time or duration of the event (they don't kick you out like others do) and the flexibility they offer to last minute changes (no one allows changes like they do). In short, you will not be disappointed and definitely consider them for parties at home or at the restaurant.

“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. We’ve been visiting Dosa Grill for years, and their food always satisfies our craving for comforting South Indian soul food. But today, it was their kindness that left the biggest impression.

The staff surprised an elderly couple, longtime customers celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary, with a cake and balloons. The couple, who were dining by themselves, were overwhelmed and kept saying that no one had ever acknowledged and surprised them quite like this in their entire lives.

It was so heartwarming to witness such a thoughtful gesture. Moments like these remind us that behind a restaurant are people with truly good hearts. One more reason to keep coming back to Dosa Grill!“

“My 1st time visiting tulsi. A new gem in east brunswick. The atmosphere is terrific inside the restaurant. Warm, inviting and authentic to the Indian culture. The food choices are awesome. Great portions and very flavorful. Only negative was with amount of rice offered. Two small containers. I had inquired if basmati rice was included. If had had known the portion was going to be that small I was going to order more rice. Other indian restaurants Ive gone too weren't stingy. Overall, fantastic place. Great flavors. “I honestly felt bad seeing Sumu’s Kitchen so empty when we walked in, because the food turned out to be absolutely amazing. This is genuinely one of those hidden gems that deserves a lot more attention.

What impressed me the most was how fresh everything was. Nothing tasted like it came out of a freezer or had been sitting around for hours. Everything we ordered was freshly made to order, and you could really taste the difference.

We tried the bondas, onion pakoda, dosa, Hakka noodles, mirchi bajji, and gobi Manchurian, and every single dish was delicious. The bondas and pakodas were hot, fresh, and crispy, the dosa was excellent, and the Hakka noodles and gobi Manchurian were especially good. And the coffee was sooo good — definitely don’t skip it!

Another big shout-out to Ganesh, the manager. He handled everything so well and was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The way he took care of the customers and managed the orders, you would honestly think he was the owner. That kind of personal attention made the experience even better.

“Dosa Grill has hands down the best Indian food in the Syracuse area. As soon as you enter, you begin enjoying the rich aromas and friendly atmosphere. All their dishes are perfectly seasoned and carefully prepared. The buffet is extensive, with many of my favorites. “We are lucky to have a Banquet hall like Rasoi in the town. It is perfect to have a small or big party. We recently had our Diwali get-together at Rasoi. The Food and service were top-class. The manager Prasad Kadam ensures all goes well and all guests are happy. The staff members are very warmth and welcoming. Once this place is renovated in the coming months, it will have a brand-new Banquet hall to host the parties. I hope Chefs will introduce and add new food dishes to the catering menu.“

“Had a wonderful dining experience at Thanjai Mess – Authentic South Indian Restaurant. The food was flavorful, fresh, and truly captured the taste of traditional South Indian cuisine.

We tried the Kola Urundai, which was absolutely authentic and delicious. The Mutton Thalappakatti Biryani and Ambur Chicken Biryani were both flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Lollipop was juicy, saucy, and packed with flavor. We also ordered the Vanjaram (King Fish) Fry, which was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and very tasty.

A special mention to the service from Mr Reddy, which was really good and made the overall experience even more pleasant.

“We recently got catering from Mauli for our Ganesh Puja celebrations and the food was awesome! We ordered Kothambir Wadi, Misal and Masale Bhat, and everything was delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful and had that authentic Maharashtrian taste that is sometimes hard to find. Our guests really enjoyed it and several people asked us where we had ordered the food from. We’ve also been to the restaurant and have tried their Vada Pav and Zhunka Bhakar, Pav Bhaji and they were really good too.

“I ate here a few years ago - don't recall my whole meal but i remember it was good - love mint chuntey. The manager / staff was friendly. The space is small but organized and clean. Recently i ordered through uber eats - they had a buy one get one free promo on the chicken tikka. I also got a few orders of garlic naan. The chicken tikka with rice was good - moist chicken, good flavor and not too spicy. However the garlic naan was disappointing - it was a tad bit salty but mostly the bread was flat and dense - it should be a little more fluffy with a nice chew. Hope they read this and improve it - would give it another try.“
