“Place is awesome! Good traditional Indian food. If you are new to Indian cuisine they will help you. Our server Mayuresh was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would also recommend getting the dessert gulab jamun, it is very good!I would definitely go back and recommend.“

“Wanted to try a local Indian place and this place came up in my search. I got the butter chicken with basmati rice and paratha. I am so happy I gave this restaurant a go! Food was excellent! Butter chicken was so flavorful. I was nervous it would be too spicy for me bc I don’t like too too spicy but this was just the right amount of kick for me. I can’t wait to order from them again! The rice and paratha were delicious too! Thank you so much!!“
“We were traveling from Maryland & wanted some good Indian food while passing by Jersey. Monroe township’s Aarzoo was the best choice ever. I made reservations & we were seated immediately. Akshay took care of us that night. We did not want to order heavy curry based desi food & stuck with small plates & appetizers - palak chat, coconut chicken 65, tandoori salmon, lamb kabob & goat cutlets. Icing on the cake was our dessert sampler. I want to say our experience couldn’t have been better if Akshay was not our server that night. He was phenomenal!!!“
“I decided to go out for Indian and picked this place. The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. We started with a few appetizers. Chicken samosas, vegetable spring rolls and paneer pakoda . They were excellent! Everything came out hot and fresh! For our entrees we desired to go with goat Tikka marsala, butter chicken marsala and chicken jalfrezi. The goat was tender and succulent. The butter chicken was delicious and creamy. We paired that with garlic naan and roti. It also comes with rice. The rice was soft and fluffy absolutely delicious just on its own! The waiter was super friendly and helpful, even suggesting items we might like to try in the future. Don't forget to treat yourself to a Mango lasssi! I will absolutely be back. If you are looking for an intimate local restaurant for top notch Indian cuisine! I highly recommend you try this place for yourself!“
“Lets Start Here..... The website has an issue, The menu has the wrong days they are open, and the prices are different. But those are small things and I would just suggest giving them a call to make sure they are open. Ambiance of his place is what you would expect. You are not going there for a 5 star luxury experience. This is a local family owned Indian spot with great food. It is very clean but it is not going to be on the cover of Restaurant Interiors anytime soon. Service was great. The gentleman apologized for the information being incorrect, was very polite and my food was ready on time. Now the Food. As my cohorts opened their containers every dish looked correct. Not too creamy, just enough Ghee floating on top. The consistency of each meal was what you would expect. Flavor was excellent, rice was fresh, we couldn't have asked for anything more. This will become our new Indian lunch spot moving forward.“
“This has become our go to Indian place for take out so I can't rate the service or atmosphere. But the food is great! I've had a variety of dals and makhanis and my family has had vindoloos, aloo Gobi, naans and mango Lassi. All delicious! My son said it was the best chicken vindoloo he has had.“
“A top-tier destination for all thali lovers in NJ, offering an array of unlimited options including the Gujarati and Kathiawadi thalis! These dishes are both delectable and plentiful, featuring delightful accompaniments like papad, pickle, garlic chutney! A perfect choice for a leisurely Sunday, though be prepared for potentially long wait times - patience is key!“
“Clean and comfortable restaurant. Srava the waitress will take the time to explain the menu. He is kind. The food is authentic. I recommend the tilapia dish. It is spice, rich and healthy. 100 stats to this restaurantKid-friendliness: Srava is very friendly“
“This place never disappoints in food, service and atmosphere. During dinner it's SUPER busy and that says a lot! My family and I drive an hour to get to this place and it's definitely worth the drive. We get extra to have for breakfast the next morning??? They have a wonderful menu for everyone. Vegetarian and meat and kid- friendly.Kid-friendliness: They have a menu for kids. My little ones like tandoori chicken, vegetable fried rice, pakora, naan, puff bread, chicken Tikka masala( mild)... portions may be big but leftovers taste good the next day.“
“PROs - hidden gem , homely food , serviceCONs- location , limited menu itemsI rarely give a 5 star . We were near Marlboro area and were craving for some vegetarian food . Saw Google and decided to visit this restaurant . At first , we kinda were joking around looking at the restaurant as there were no customers . Location was a bit wierd. .. we went in and asked if there was food and the Indian lady came and was kind of shocked to see 12 of us coming in . She said she will start cooking then and will take time .We almost wanted to leave the place because we weren’t confident of how fast they will prepare.. to all our surprise , she was able to cook food quickly and the food was deliciousssssssssss.. its almost like our mom cooking at home . We had unlimited thali.she brought us dolls , samosa , kichadi , rotis , undhiyiu, potato bhaji, gulab jamun, chaas etc. all my friends were happy and had a fantastic meal . She said to call her next time before coming , so she can prepare all food :) even though it was a slow start , we were so happy with the food .It’s truly a hidden gem . Both owners were sweet and the service was exceptional.“
“We've been to this place a few times and they make some good quality Punjabi food. Service is good too. Chapati is a must try item. I'm so surprised that this place is never fully occupied over weekends even though their food and service is outstanding. I would highly recommend visiting this place.“
“Place bit away from the temple building but within the same complex. There is separate parking lot with covered parking. Prices are nominal ($5 each for any food). We had pongal, dosa, vada, coffee, tamarind rice, etc., We moderately liked the food we ordered, specially the coconut chutney was very good. Service was fast, staffs are friendly, clean area, restrooms are clean/well maintained. One thing i find issue here is they don't display the price, but mostly all food are $5 except tea/coffee $2. Food served here is VEGAN (so don't expect ghee, milk based food ingredients). For coffee/tea they use oatmilk(personally i did not liked it). But all in all good price at nominal price.“
