“My husband and I were craving Indian so we decided to try this place. Firstly, picking up it was the nicest customer service. The man was so personal and friendly, it was like walking into a family restaurant. He gave me a tea, some yummy dessert and he didn’t even want to accept money for it.
Secondly, we devoured everything. It was all so delicious and it filled us all up. We got three things but the chicken tikka was amazing.
Overall, I would highly recommend ordering from here. You won’t be disappointed.“

“We ordered take away from Lahore Chatkhara for the first time last night. I have to eat gluten free so I am always nervous the first time eating anywhere but I was assured they would take great care of me and they did. The food was wonderful. It was so flavorful and delicious! I did not get sick which happens an hour after eating anything with gluten. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone gluten free and of course everyone else!“

“Great food with consistent outcomes with every visit. We eat in the restaurant which is never crowded. I would like to see more people come in. Today our new favorite was the whole Pomfret fish. I didn't get a picture but did of our earlier choices. Itsxs great sharing time experience with your own favorite wine.“

“1st time! Delicious food! We had the Vegetable Samosa and Tandoori Chicken Tikka for starters! Both were fabulous tasting, the Samosa had a nice spice to it, and the sizzling Tikka was just perfect! I had a Chicken Kadai and the wife had Chicken Badami Korma. Both delicious and even though I enjoy heat, these two dishes were mild and absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at the great flavors! I highly recommended! And the prices are very reasonable! Will be back!“

“Finally tried this resturant and to my surprise was quite good and above average. Will definitely by on our go to indian restaurant when we need our indian food fix. Medium spice is perfect. Biryani was excellent. To add the staff very pleasant and professional. Byob and veggie options avail.“

“I ordered the Chicken Chettinadu, veg momo, and veg lunch combo — all were absolutely delicious! The Chicken Chettinadu had the perfect balance of spice and savory, and the veg momo were fresh, flavorful, and filled with a nice variety of vegetables. The veg lunch combo was satisfying and well-portioned, and the kheer dessert was fresh and mildly sweet — a perfect way to end the meal. Everything was packaged neatly and arrived warm. Highly recommend for anyone looking for flavorful, well-prepared Indian cuisine. I’ll definitely be ordering again!“

“This restaurant Annaporni in manalpan was very good, samber, dosa, utthapam and vedas were excellent. I would go back again. Recommend this place for South Indian cuisine. Did not try their biryani’s but I am sure they are equally good.“

“PROs - hidden gem , homely food , serviceCONs- location , limited menu itemsI rarely give a 5 star . We were near Marlboro area and were craving for some vegetarian food . Saw Google and decided to visit this restaurant . At first , we kinda were joking around looking at the restaurant as there were no customers . Location was a bit wierd. .. we went in and asked if there was food and the Indian lady came and was kind of shocked to see 12 of us coming in . She said she will start cooking then and will take time .We almost wanted to leave the place because we weren’t confident of how fast they will prepare.. to all our surprise , she was able to cook food quickly and the food was deliciousssssssssss.. its almost like our mom cooking at home . We had unlimited thali.she brought us dolls , samosa , kichadi , rotis , undhiyiu, potato bhaji, gulab jamun, chaas etc. all my friends were happy and had a fantastic meal . She said to call her next time before coming , so she can prepare all food :) even though it was a slow start , we were so happy with the food .It’s truly a hidden gem . Both owners were sweet and the service was exceptional.“

“I got the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. The gentleman that was at the counter when I walked in was very pleasant and accommodating. The chicken was good, I would say 7.5/10, and the garlic naan was out of this world, 10/10. I will be returning“

“I ate here a few years ago - don't recall my whole meal but i remember it was good - love mint chuntey. The manager / staff was friendly. The space is small but organized and clean. Recently i ordered through uber eats - they had a buy one get one free promo on the chicken tikka. I also got a few orders of garlic naan. The chicken tikka with rice was good - moist chicken, good flavor and not too spicy. However the garlic naan was disappointing - it was a tad bit salty but mostly the bread was flat and dense - it should be a little more fluffy with a nice chew. Hope they read this and improve it - would give it another try.“

“Today was my first visit to this location, and I prefer it over the Metuchen location. The Sayreville restaurant is absolutely immaculate, nicely decorated, and the bathrooms are spotless; everything is clean and modern. The food is as I expected: fantastic! I had the bhel puri and the hariyali noodle with shredded paneer. Both dishes were fresh and bursting with flavor! The rose lassi complemented the spices of the food, and the paan shot delicious! There is paan available at the counter, and five varieties of mukhwas at the exit. It was a great experience, and everyone was very nice.“

Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond ensure that every visit is memorable. For those seeking something different, Keyport Deli is also planning to introduce exotic spicy Indian food and snacks2, promising to add a vibrant new dimension to their already diverse menu. “I recently ate at Cumin N Eat, and honestly, the food completely lived up to the hype.
From the moment the dishes came out, you could tell everything was made fresh and with real attention to flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced—not too overpowering, but still packed with that rich, authentic taste that makes you want to keep eating even when you’re full. Every bite had depth, and you can tell they don’t cut corners when it comes to ingredients.
But the highlight for me had to be the wings. They were absolutely amazing—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a sauce that had the perfect mix of flavor and heat. Not too spicy, not too mild—just right. They were easily some of the best wings I’ve had, and I’d go back just for those alone.
Overall, Cumin N Eat is definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in New Jersey. Great flavor, great quality, and food that actually leaves an impression.“
