“This restaurant under the current ownership is one of the most hospitable and flexible places to host a party. The food is good and offers lot of flexibility with the menu. The restaurant management team realizes the importance of hospitality and really understands what is priority for the host of the party. I have hosted as well as attended parties here and I am amazed at the flexibility the owners offer. I can assure you that no other restaurant in the vicinity will be able to do what they do and that includes food and drinks packages (best price for the quality of food), time or duration of the event (they don't kick you out like others do) and the flexibility they offer to last minute changes (no one allows changes like they do). In short, you will not be disappointed and definitely consider them for parties at home or at the restaurant.
Recommend their Kulchas, appetizers and cocktails. The main course is also good.”

“They have amazing biryanis and authentic flavors. Good selection of vegetarian menu. Chicken 65, Apolo fish and tandoori grill are my favourite dishes in their menu. They take catering orders for small and big events too. Whatever the occasion they serve you with warmth and comfort food. The best Indian food in this Dayton New Jersey area.”

“(Recommendations below) Their service is always speedy and orders always accurate. Food is always delicious. This is the go-to for everyone in the area whether it’s for a lunch break or dinner time take-out. They don’t offer delivery, but it’s in such a convenient location that it works out. Haven’t been to any other chinese restaurant as good as China Star 💗⭐️ they’re so consistent in every aspect. They also have a buffet, but I haven’t tried it yet. Give them a try!

“I don't come here often but when I do, the service is outstanding. This morning, they didn't have what I wanted to eat, and asked me what I wanted instead. I realized in the midst of this that I didn't have my debit card, and the nice gentleman and the drive thru said it was on them. The coffee is also always to my liking. I never have to mix it, and it comes out exactly how I want. Thank you”

“We found this little spot when we were leaving nearby Duke Farms. It hit the spot. Small bites and great coffee. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was inviting. Definitely recommend a stop here.”

“Tremendous Italian dining experience, get a table in the basement as it is more quiet and more private.. Pasta was delicious, the wine recommended by the waiter, a bearded friendly Spanish guy was great as was the Tirasmsu which was out of this world. Ate there twice and it was the best dining experience in New Brunswick.”

“For a $1000 meal I expect flawless service and unfortunately that was not the case. Drinks ordered during dinner arrived while eating desert. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. Food was good but service needs improvement if those are the prices you will be charging.”

“We had 3 sets of 3 scoops. 3 different people with 3 very different tastes in ice cream. 9 different flavors. They were all wonderful and exciting. This is not your ordinary ice cream shop but please do not let that deter you from trying them out. Just expect to be a bit adventurous and go for it. They are a small batch artisan style shop with many unique flavors to try. We also grabbed 4 pints of other flavors to take home and try. The owner was awesome, explained all of the flavors and offered samples. The inside was very cute with a good amount of seating for an ice cream shop. Please go and try them out because this is the type of place that would be truly missed by anyone that has visited.”

“The environment of the restaurant was amazing! The aroma and taste of the soup was delicious and fulfilling. Definitely would come back again.
Customer service was great. It’s been a while since we visited and they have added several different soup base choices. We went for the basic chicken broth with fish maw, but will definitely try other ones next time.
All the hot pot restaurants in the area are all-you-can-eat, but this one isn’t. However, the quality of the soup stock is way better and the dining environment is quieter.”
