“One of my favorite places to get food. Foods always sooooo good and the people are so nice, even when I'm being a little annoying with my 13 people orders (I always get help when I have like 4 bags of foods). As a Muslim it is really hard to find good halal places that won't cost an arm and a leg, and this is is really affordable for the amount of food you are getting. I hope this place never closes. 10/10 would recommend”

“I have been craving a Chicago dog since I left the windy city in 2014. Hubby brought me one of yours and oh my. Y'all nailed it and even though the bun isn't poppy seed, the bun you use is incredibly good! He also brought a banh mi dog and now I am craving one of each daily!”

“Have heard a lot a good things about this place for the Scary Good Eats App.. You definitely have to have a game plan if you want anything here. Parking is not fun since you are in the heart of Rutgers. You have to hope you can snag a spot out front. The place itself is very small, no indoor seating, just order and you are on your way. Was not a cheap lunch for 2 sandwiches and some fries. Around $50 I believe. The sandwiches were good. Got the basic Cheeseteak with the Cooper Sharp. It was an exact amount of meat and cheese to fill the roll, which was soft and fresh. Was a solid Cheeseteak. The fries were very good as well. I will go back, but not out of my way. Very Good job for a new business.”

“We had dinner on a Sunday night and the food was great but the service was subpar. Bread took forever to come to our table, we had to ask for water multiple times before we got more, and there were multiple staff available but were not super attentive. Staff were mostly focused on taking food away that we had just finished and then wiping the table with a Lysol wipe, which I thought was overkill. My mussels, clam chowder, and bread pudding were all delicious and we have been here before on a busy Saturday night and received great service so chalking it up to that!”

This was my second trip for dinner in two months and it exceeded all expecations, the hoilday decor transformed the second floor. The service (Regan) was on point, pleasant and efficient with out being over bearing. The meal was the single greatest pasta dish I have had in the U.S. (wild boar ravioli) Already making plans to return, if you are with in a days drive, you really have no excuse not to enjoy a meal with them.”

“They serve absolutely delicious lamb dish ❤️ Lamb Do Pyaza, Grilled Lamb, Lamb Korma, Lamb Kaboli Rice yum! The portions are decent for the price. Went there twice on Spring 2021 and last night, but seems like they put more Tahini in their Baba Ganoush lately because it’s got much creamier texture and less of eggplant taste than we had last year :/ Decent outdoor sitting in their backyard on warm days, the upstairs sitting room is a unique for us non Afghans, they have place for customers sitting sections (Afghan style) and they provide tables and chairs too incase you’d like to sit and dine there. Definitely would visit ‘em again!”

“Fantastic Chinese noodles. Portions are large, delicious, and fresh for a very good price. It's hard to argue with the value here. We tried their soup dumplings, beef noodles, and mount qi spicy beef noodles. Well seasoned, actually spicy when requested, and once more, great portions. Definitely a must stop and a great lunch spot. Be warned, there isn't much seating, so if you're there during rush, you make struggle to find a place to sit down.”

“Food was decent. We got the burrata pizza, it wasn’t hot, tasted like it was sitting for a while, but the flavor was actually good so we didn’t say anything. The service was very slow and it was a non crowded weekday. We had to ask for bread that was supposed to come with meal, and had to ask for refills of water. The limoncello at the end tasted like watered down lemonade. It’s just an okay spot. Skip the fig salad. The chicken parm and eggplant rollonti were good. Heavy pour on the wine which was nice!!”

“Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

Overall a good first impression at a boba shop I've never seen before.”

“i rarely write reviews but this place is so good that i must write one. i first tried their brown sugar boba back in 2021 and i was honestly blown away. it's a basic drink, but something about it differentiated them from the rest of the boba shops that also has brown sugar boba. every time i come here, their boba pearls are always perfect (not mushy, soft, chewy, perfectly sweet). i've also tried different drinks such as their taro puff cream, rose milk tea, and matcha creme brulee, and it did not disappoint. i believe they're reasonably priced too, compared to other boba shops where a large boba would cost almost $10. as someone who has tried most of the boba places in central jersey, i can say this place is definitely one of the top (in my opinion) in the area!”

“I used a $6.99 coupon for a 2 PC, chicken boxed meal. It came with a small drink, biscuit, fries, and 2 small pieces of chicken, a wing and something they called chicken breast. I mentioned to the person that took my order that I never saw a leg bone in chicken breast before. He said he doesn't eat chicken. Everything tasted very good! Free refills from the self served soft drink machine. The people are pleasant!

Parking: It's located in a small strip mall. Parking is subject to how busy the area is. I went around 3pm on a Wednesday. It wasn't bad finding a parking spot.”

“I recently visited Koko Loko cafe in New Brunswick and had the pleasure of trying their Pistachio Latte and Caramel Latte. While both drinks were enjoyable, the Pistachio Latte truly stole the show.

The Pistachio Latte was perfectly balanced, with a rich, nutty flavor that wasn’t overly sweet but still indulgent. It had a creamy texture that complemented the espresso beautifully, making every sip an absolute delight. It’s one of those drinks that leaves you wanting more even after the last drop.

The Caramel Latte was good as well, with a classic sweetness and smooth finish, but it didn’t quite compare to the unique and standout flavor of the Pistachio Latte. If you’re deciding between the two, I’d highly recommend going for the pistachio—it’s a game changer!

The ambiance of the shop was cozy, and the service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu, but the Pistachio Latte is already a favorite.

It might be a little wait for you food but thats honestly fine because it just shows the food is fresh.”

“Tried New Brunswick location today for the first time after hearing raving reviews from my co-workers. I am very impressed! I got a burrito box w/ chorizo and added guac, Brussels sprouts & chipotle aioli. Oh my goodness. Delicious! Those brussels were way tasty. Then a bag of chips too. The chips had a hint of lime and lightly salted, so good. Better than chipotles. The bowl was huge; couldn’t finish which made for a great dinner. Can’t wait to come back and keep trying different meats!!”

“The moat delicious and authentic Dominican Food!!!! The Sanchoco took me back to to the island and sweet memories of my visits to Santo Domingo to see my family every year.
