“Great food, service, and atmosphere. I ordered the roast duck noodles (spicy), and it was delicious. Definitely recommended getting it spicy. Great flavor, and you literally will drink the broth. It was so good. Service was great, order at the counter and they will bring the food to you if you dine in. While I was there, quite a few people were in and out, getting to go and take out meals. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the music is perfect. I will definitely be back.“
“for New Brunswick, this is a solid bowl of Ramen. Order the black garlic and regular tonkosu. Good stuff and well seasoned. very generous with the toppings and vegetables. Both halves of the egg included. One thing I would mention is that the meat is really thin and could have use more meat to the order. But I guess thats just part of inflation ! Will be back!“
“Really delicious authentic tacos. Easy to miss this place as it is just in a small shopping strip. It's whole different level and nothing like the chain-type taco/burrito places that are everywhere. Meats seem really nicely marinated and each tastes different: lamb, short ribs, that kind of thing - quality. Lots of vegetarian options too (which you hardly ever see) like butternut, sauteed mushrooms, really good refried beans, marinated tofu. Highly recommend this place.“
“If you are looking for a comforting, cozy, relaxed place that serves up AMAZING, no frills ramen and eats, THIS is the place!! Highly recommend the tonkatsu + ajitama add-on (marinated soft boiled egg) with spicy oil on the side so you can make it as hot as you want to. One of the best ramen I’ve had in NJ by far! The staff is awesome and our waiter was busy but always acknowledged us and attended to whatever we needed. Keep up the great food and service!!“
“It's a relatively small place and got full when we were there but luckily we got seated quickly. We tried four different Ramen amongst us as well as a couple of appetizers. Everything was delicious and the total was also pretty reasonable for the food we ordered. I will definitely be going back here to try the rest of the options!“
“Tasty, clean, prompt and friendly service. Came for date with my oldest—she approves. Broth is delicious (deep in flavor and clean). Prices are very reasonable considering what is usually charged for ramen these days.Ordered:1x special ramen1x miso ramen1x chasu pork bunNoodles came out al dente ??I like my chasu pork bun with some pickled radishes for that bit of vinegar kick to cut through the sauce and fatty belly so probably won’t order that again. But overall, pretty yummy lunch.Bonus: egg is included with the ramen and not an extra charge. We will return.“
“We were down at Rutgers and the Boy wanted a late lunch, but of course had no idea what he wanted...so I chose Shokudo. Having never been there before we kind of played it safe. We started with edamame and some steamed shumai. For our entrees Wifey and the boy each had rice bowls (one chicken one pork) and I had the Shoyu Ramen with chicken. The food here was very tasty and the servers were friendly and helpful. If I lived closer I'd definitely go here frequently...“
“Osaka Ramen exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a clean and inviting atmosphere. The customer service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and it was simply outstanding rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and just the right amount of spice to tantalize my taste buds. What impressed me the most was that despite the restaurant being busy, the wait was surprisingly short. Osaka Ramen truly delivers on both quality and efficiency, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.“
“This restaurant is a gem. Out of the 30 or so ramen places I have tried in NJ, Sakana makes the top 3 easily. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant, the service is quick, and the food is excellent. Prices are competitive as well, highly recommend.“
“If you're looking for cheap eats with great portion and good taste, this place is it! When i'm craving for some ramen, i think of this place. They have great selections especially for people that are Vegetarians and probably vegan. Shoutout to the workers there that are always very nice!“
“Cute, quaint, great decor, clean and delicious. Everything from the Ramen and sushi to the Hibachi is delicious!! AND the juicy pork dumplings are SO good! As for the bubble tea and green tea cake, big thumbs up! The wait staff is friendly but the owner (or possibly manager) is even friendlier and just the kindest! She truly makes you feel welcomed! Highly recommend!!Kid-friendliness: When she’s there, the owner always takes the time to say hello and bring our kid a little sweet snack. It’s very sweet!“
“I've come here abt 6 times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person. The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup always tastes good and fresh, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places. The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. I love the salmon from here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls. They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too.ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee. Coming here with 4 people or less is worth it when they all eat their money's worth.“
“This is the place I go to for sushi and ramen, Taiwanese style. The taste is more delicate and refined. For sushi and ramen connoisseurs, there’s a subtle taste and texture difference between this restaurant and a Chinese owned sushi restaurant. And I’m a Chinese. I drive 30 minutes to eat here rather than go to half a dozen other sushi restaurants 10 minutes or less from my house.“
“Was there earlier the artwork around the store really was really nice. Food was pretty good so was the ramen only complaint was that the tea was a bit too strong/over steeped for my liking but overall everything was really nice. Def a good spot to pass by and price to food portions for what I got was pretty “
“Decided to try Domoko tonight. Haven't been here since before the pandemic. The food is good and the server is friendly. I only gave it 4 stars because the selection is not as good as other AYCE sushi places but the price is about the same. I would describe the ambiance as "eclectic". It used to be an Italian restaurant years ago but they added some Japanese art to the paneled walls and there are year-round Christmas decorations. I'm not saying I wouldn't come back. If I was in the area and wanted sushi it was fine, but I wouldn't make a point to come here instead of other AYCE places.“
“It's a very popular ramen stop around the New Brunswick area. It's not big and only less than 10 tables are served. So, there is often a wait... How does it taste? Umm... Very good but not oily. I personally prefer heavier taste. Santouka at Mitsuwa is better in my opinion, but my wife is in the opposite opinion. The price is a bit higher but acceptable. Parking is not convenient since it's New Brunswick. You might park at a distance from Ramen Nagomi. For enjoying a bowl of delicious hot ramen, it's still worth it.“
