“I had surgery yesterday and I was so impressed by how beautiful the hospital is. For an older building it was very clean and beautiful. The pre-op staff were all amazing! Surgical staff were so caring and comforting. Post op was the best ever. Once in my room the RN’s were angels making sure I was comfortable and didn’t mind when I called for them. Two assistants that I had once in my room weren’t as nice, didn’t want to talk to me and seemed bothered when I needed to go to bathroom or asked for another blanket but even with those two people I’d give my stay a 5 star rating! Thank you so much for taking care of me and making sure I was safe and comfortable. So glad we left Philly to go to an amazing hospital.“

“Had breakfast here early on a Saturday with a friend. Food was good for sure. However, EVERY person working at this restaurant attended to us. We had a hard time finishing one sentence of our conversation without being asked how things were or if we wanted more coffee. I'm serious, no fewer than 6 people visited our table. Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!“

“The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Service can be a tad iffy at times. They'll offer you cilantro sauce with the empanadas but not tell you it's $0.50. You ask for an egg with waffles, they give you two (and charge for two just to be clear). I wish that they were a little more clear about that kind of stuff.

The food really does make up for it though. Everything is super fresh, well made and seasoned. The empanadas give Division Street Cafe a run for their money. The waffles are proper waffles, not the Belgian ones everyone else has, and it's all just vibrant. The decor is really fun, and the people who work there are friendly. The price can be a bit nuts. Both times I've gone it's cost us $50 to feed two people, with one entree each, a drink for one of us, and a single empanada. That's a lot. The desserts are $10 each which is a bit nuts. I know everyone is charging a lot nowadays, but I don't have to be happy about it.“

“I came here with my friend after a lovely day ,the staff there were warm, inviting and professional. The staff here also spoke English and Spanish, which is a plus in my book. The restaurant was very clean and so it was a great place to relax and eat. We both ordered waffles and a drinks, All of which tasted great and was also plated very nicely! A very lovely dining experience ! THANK YOU EDDY KITCHEN FOR EVERYTHING“
