“Moved to the neighbourhood a couple of weeks back and were looking for a nice place to eat... we found Girasole within walking distance and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive yet not overebearing and the food was delicious. Pointing out that I do cook... and well... so it is nice to find a place that I can enjoy without thinking "I could have made this better at home". Definitely be coming back and soon!”

“Was here for a soccer tournament and stumbled in from a quick search. Definitely get the wings! The food was overall great and exceeded our expectations. Drafts were cold and good as well. We came on a Tuesday evening so not busy but the bartender was also very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend”

“Not a bad spot for a quick treat! I never realized how big these cookies were. Incredibly dense and filling. I loved the classic chocolate chip and also the oatmeal cinnamon thin cookies. Would definitely check out the new flavors next time!

“came across this little gem while working in the area. Did a handy little google search & came across Tierra Mia. I am glad I tried it. The restaurant itself is large enough, very clean looking and visually pleasing. The waitress was very sweet and was on top of her service, without hovering. The food though…oh my goodness! I ordered the Compańado, with the bistec encebollado (steak w/onions), which came with white rice, black beans, egg salad, sweet plantains & fried egg. I paid what I would consider pricey for a lunch portion ($20), but that is not a complaint considering the portion & variety the dish offered. The size was generous and the flavor was deliciously on point. I highly recommend Tierra Mia for anyone in the area or anyone looking for delicious Spanish food!”

“Solid chicken spot. I had the chicken sandwich and rice bowl. Both entrees have several sauce options. I would’ve added a pic but I already killed it. Juicy, tender, flavorful chicken and the quality is consistent.

Would recommend mango haberno, honey garlic butter, and hickory BBQ. Food travels well (still fresh/hot after long commute) so it has become my families go to place for take out.”

“Found on a whim coming out of NY. But out of the way, but so worth it. Parking was free valet which was nice. Food was absolutely amazing! Excellent flavor and great portion size. Really got a good amount for the money. Staff was polite and took care of us quickly without feeling pushed. Place was a little extra loud with a hig intensity light show going, but it was Saturday night and they were getting ready to turn into a night club. Highly recommend!”

“I tend to wander in this place late at night, when I'm surprised they're open and even more surprised by the taste of the food. It's a family business where the husband and wife served me tasty, homestyle food and gossiped with me about dietary health and herbs, while I munched. A year later, I wandered in and met their son while exploring my first meal of sopes. It's my favorite Mexican food in the area, and I'm comparing it favorably with the famous place in Dunellen.”

“The food was very very fresh. It was very good. I got a salad with fried tilapia filet. The salad came with romaine lettuce, radish slices, lime wedges and dressing in a little cup, red onion in thin rings, a generous amount of avocado slices, and tomato. It was very nice. And I had atol de elote to drink, since it is cool outside and I had ordered a salad. The atol was very nice, not too sweet.
The other order at my table was marañon juice and a menu special that was the most expensive item, I think. $26 I think. Chalateco Especial? It was a platter of beef, chicken breast, slices of chorizo, and shrimp. With black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, sweet fried banana (platano maduro), and green onions and rice. And we ordered tortillas. Which were made fresh to order. All very enjoyable and delicious.
We will definitely go back. The waitress was very nice, and attentive. The music was nice: not too loud, unobtrusive and enjoyable. The tv’s were not annoying. One was off , and I was sad when it was turned on, but sponge bob was playing silently, so that was fine. They have salvadoreñan and mexican food, a big menu. Various signs advising of specials were not current. We were very happy with what we got. One unusual thing about this place is that the food was pleasantly low in sugar and surprisingly low in salt. In a good way. Usually restaurant food is too salty. This, I salted a little and was very happy. They have an espresso machine. The ambiance is decidedly unfancy. But our table was clean and everything smelled fine. Do go try the food. It was very fresh and very nice presentation on the plate. 👍🏼”

“Came here for lunch last Saturday to try some pupusas and got three: one with refried beans and cheese, one with chorizo (spicy sausage) and cheese, and one with chicharron (a form of pork). All were amazing, especially with the salsa they came with.

The place may seem small and a bit cramped in some places like the ordering counter, but you can dine in with a small group.

My only ask is that menus with updated prices be provided. The prices on the menu I saw did not match what I ultimately paid for (off by about $0.50 per pupusa).”

“Tried this pizza place as we moved to Bridgewater lately and was quite amazed to see the options available here. It’s like a subway of pizzas. We ordered 3 pizza with all individual toppings choice. The crust is quite thin and tasty. We enjoyed the whole ambience and the sitting area is clean. They have outdoor seating also.

“This place is called “Victoria’s” (as of Jan 2026) but since the review isn’t saving on the Victoria tag, I’ll leave it here for Las Delicias (im guessing this was the old name of the restaurant)

Victoria’s is an amazing place for really good Colombian food. It’s very busy on weekends and deservedly so.

Staff are friendly, professional and very patient. We ordered a bunch of food to go because there were no open tables, but eventually switched our order to dine-in

We loved the sancocho (soup) with oxtail, and also had the bandeja paisa (a big platter of meats with sides). This dish comes from the central region of Colombia where they grow coffee, and it’s always our go-to meal when we try Colombian places

This is definitely one of our new favorite places - whatever you get, definitely ask for their “aji”

It’s like a spicy salsa, and goes well with empanadas or grilled meats. Don’t call it salsa.. call it by the word used by people in Colombia (and also Peru)- aji
