First rate management, service as well as atmosphere have become an absolute necessity in the service industry. Huey’s never disappoints. The music is good too! They don’t serve food but the alcohol is great and reliable. It’s primarily a college bar but the staff is good to the older folks who stay and are polite. I highly recommend the place. There is a dance floor as well! There are plenty of TVs which give the place a sports bar feel too! In conclusion, the place was just renovated and is an outstanding bar/nightclub.“

“Verve was hitting on all cylinders last night as we dined with friends. We were seated promptly. Cocktails were well made but did take too long to order and get to the table- something we were willing to overlook once food started arriving. All of our apps were super- chicken buns, pork belly, oysters and calamari’s shared amongst the 5 of us. Everyone raved about their entrees , steaks, lamb and salmon flavorful and perfectly cooked. Desserts were good but could have taken some more effort. Service was competent and professional but wasn’t perfect. Bread took forever to come to our table, we had to ask for water multiple times before we got more, and there were multiple staff available but were not super attentive. Staff were mostly focused on taking food away that we had just finished and then wiping the table with a Lysol wipe, which I thought was overkill. My mussels, clam chowder, and bread pudding were all delicious and we have been here before on a busy Saturday night and received great service so chalking it up to that!“

They do sell food but like any local bar that does you have to catch them at the moment everyone is ordering because its literally one person behind the bar.
