“I've been going to the South River Pub for many many years and I used to bartend there as well. It's my hometown bar and I love it. My mom knew the owners and i grew up with their kids and they have become like family. I particularly love karaoke night on Fridays with DJ Rob, who has become a dear friend to me over the years as well. The regulars are fun, kind and caring people and when I go there it feels like family. Like “Cheers.†They don't serve food but you can bring your own if you like. Sometimes for special events and football, Lil will make a little food buffet for the customers. It's always a fun time.“
“This place is amazing. The food was fresh and huge portions. I’ve been here about 3-4 times. I like this restaurant very much. The sangria is phenomenal! Best I’ve ever had. The salad, simple but incredibly delicious. Fresh baked bread also does not disappoint. I’d definitely recommend, even the sangria alone is worth the trip. “We arrived early and were able to be seated. I made reservations for their new room, the “Cove” advertised as more intimate. Thinking quiet, perfect for date night. There were 2 large tables of 8 or more. Tables close together so noise level was at a high. Food was good. Lobster bisque, prawns, sea bass, pappardelle.“

“I first came to this place a year ago for my birthday. I didn't come back because it brought back not-so-good memories of that year. Fast forward a year later and friend wanted to come and so I said ok, lets give it a go. It was a good decision.After waiting about 10 minutes to see the host/hostess, we were seated quickly upstairs. I cannot express how great the service was, from the bus boys to our great waitress, Allison (sp), who made the evening extra special. Both she and the boys made me blush and made that dining experience very memorable, so THANK YOU!The food were amazing. The bread was good. The appetizer we chose, I believe it was the octopus, was GREAT! I ordered the Jersey pizza and it was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the Peppa Pig pizza and it sure was meaty. Both pizzas were actually large enough for two to share. My other friend ordered pasta and she seemed to have enjoyed it, and she ordered the half size so it was just the perfect portion for her. And for dessert, we had to order a cake... and it came with a surprise. A very pleasant surprise so again, THANK YOU very much to the staff. I just wish my mojito (or was it a margarita?) had less ice and more drink lol.So, from the atmosphere to the food and to the great staff, I'd definitely keep coming back again.“
“33's Tavern has slammin’ tacos and great wings! I’ve had the fish tacos multiple times before and they never disappoint. Today was the first time we got wings and they were big and juicy! My husband got the steak tacos and they were also scrumptious! They are located right on Old Bridge Turnpike! (There is one wing missing that was consumed before I thought about sharing this gem!) 33’s is a bar, but you can totally go in and eat and/or grab takeout! Prices are extremely reasonable for what you get! ??“
