“Haven't set foot inside Docks since 2004 for no other reason than it's a little out of the way from home and I'm not much of a drinker. I've been working in the area again for about a year and wanted to find a local spot to go with some coworkers and figured since it was close, why not try Docks. I happened across a picture of one of their burgers and had to try one since having my gallbladder removed and being able to once again enjoy the occasional bacon cheeseburger. Stopped there tonight with a coworker, got the Houston Burger and let me tell you... it was incredible. Burger was well seasoned and juicy (even though I always order well done) and the bacon was top quality. The prices were fantastic and my coworker said they had one of the best Guinness draughts he's had in a long time. Definitely see it turning into a to-do after work more often.“

Math and Florida were upstairs all night from 7;30pm 2/1/2025 to 6:05am 2/2/2025 doing things they weren't supposed to and sending explicit communication via cell phone. They had a school bus from Colling Lakes parked on the street on the white horse Pike until 6:42am just left towards Hammonton“

“This is a decent bar. The service during the day is not the best if you’re not a regular or if you don’t look a certain way. However, it is a lot better in the evening. The evening bartenders tend to be friendlier and more welcoming. I tried to be a regular there but some of the bad service turned me off. Not bad if you go from to time. The drinks were always great. Food is decent but their wings are absolutely amazing. Place has always been organized and clean.“

The food is excellent, day staff friendly, and one of the cleanest places around because of the wonderful owner who takes pride in her establishment. Try the soup during the winter months, YUM.
The atmosphere is very dark if you sit downstairs and much lighter upstairs.
Pool tables and other games to entertain you . Many TVs for the sports minded. Daily specials.
This is very much a regulars bar where conversations carry over to anyone who cares to jump in.“

“This is a perfect example of a tried and true local mom & pop shop serving the local community. Everyone who works here is friendly and knowledgeable. The bar area is enormous and a great place to unwind after a rough day. I even come here with my laptop and work from time to time. And the food is delicious! Sure, places like this won’t have the same vast selection as a Total Wine or Joe Canal, but the owners have always been able to order me anything I need and will even stock it regularly if it gets a following. Come support this wonderful local business, order a cocktail and some wings, and get to know the regular crew on both sides of the bar!“

“This place simply rocks. The staff is seasoned, the culture is positive and family friendly. The menu is solid (mild chicken strips is my go to) great selection of beers. “I've been going to the South River Pub for many many years and I used to bartend there as well. It's my hometown bar and I love it. My mom knew the owners and i grew up with their kids and they have become like family. I particularly love karaoke night on Fridays with DJ Rob, who has become a dear friend to me over the years as well. The regulars are fun, kind and caring people and when I go there it feels like family. Like “Cheers.” They don't serve food but you can bring your own if you like. Sometimes for special events and football, Lil will make a little food buffet for the customers. It's always a fun time.“

“On a Tuesday evening, it was quiet--giving us time and space to talk with our friends, which was our goal. On Tuesday, there is also a special deal on appetizers: buy one, get one. We enjoyed our food. We looked over the check, which was just fine, as expected, but when we handed over our credit card, whoever ran the card put a different total on the charge, which we noticed as soon as the card was returned. They fixed it, but it should not have happened. Basically, a good place for appetizers, burgers, pizzas, and simple entrees. We will go back.“

My wife comes from a Gujarati family with vegetarian dietary traditions, while my family and many of our friends are definitely meat eaters.
