“Found Las Chilangas completely by accident, as it sits in a totally unassuming strip mall that I happened to drive past. Have been back a dozen or more times since. The people - I've always assumed family - running it are incredibly sweet and the food is wonderful. They legitimately make the best guacamole I've ever had in a restaurant (chunky style, baby).”

“Soul Food in New Jersey gets no better than Dootsie’s Kitchen in Monroe, and that is no exaggeration. The place even rivals most soul food restaurants that I have experienced down south. You are truly transported to an authentic southern kitchen as soon as you enter the front doors, and the atmosphere is filled with warmth, joy, hospitality; and yes; the most delicious comfort food goodness that literally embraces your soul. We had catfish that was distinctly fresh, flavored to absolute perfection, along with the best macaroni and cheese (yes; with those dark bits of gooey cheese woven throughout) and every bite sent us to glory. Collard greens were top-notch. The southern chef personally came out to greet us, and the owner has such a genuine, dedicated and familiar demeanor that his presence clearly reflects the quality of the menu. Think attentive and detail-oriented, and your selections being packaged with care all. The restaurant has that spiritual after-church Sunday dinner gathering vibe and every bite is praise-worthy. Dootsie’s Kitchen will warm your spirit and your belly, whether you choose delivery or walk in - it is everything the other 5 star reviews testifies that it is.”

“Haven't set foot inside Docks since 2004 for no other reason than it's a little out of the way from home and I'm not much of a drinker. I've been working in the area again for about a year and wanted to find a local spot to go with some coworkers and figured since it was close, why not try Docks. I happened across a picture of one of their burgers and had to try one since having my gallbladder removed and being able to once again enjoy the occasional bacon cheeseburger. Stopped there tonight with a coworker, got the Houston Burger and let me tell you... it was incredible. Burger was well seasoned and juicy (even though I always order well done) and the bacon was top quality. The prices were fantastic and my coworker said they had one of the best Guinness draughts he's had in a long time. Definitely see it turning into a to-do after work more often.”

“I ate at the Monroe store today. I had never been at a Buubakoos before and did not know what to expect. I had the pork burrito and it was off the hook. The place was spotless and the service was spot on. The manager came over and introduced himself as John and asked if everything was satisfactory, and it was more than satisfactory. You would think John was the owner not just the manager, he cared as if was his own business. It was good to see that. I will be back for sure, my new go to place.”

“I went for the first time today and ordered bagels, tuna salad, egg salad, white fish salad and lox. Every item was amazing! The bagels were the best I have had in a very long time! The staff was so friendly and it seems that it is a family business. Support family run local places you won't be disappointed. Thank you for the great service and food.”

“(Sicklerville 2014: we got what you need) The people I signed the contract for at NJSP Buena Barracks are showing up at the lodge in Atco. Math and Florida were upstairs all night from 7;30pm 2/1/2025 to 6:05am 2/2/2025 doing things they weren't supposed to and sending explicit communication via cell phone. They had a school bus from Colling Lakes parked on the street on the white horse Pike until 6:42am just left towards Hammonton”

“We have never actually sat down here to eat. Only got takeout several times so I can't really comment on the service, but our orders are always correct and on time.

The food is good! We've had various rolls, sashimi and even hot items and have never been disappointed. Absolutely would recommend.”

“Went to the Laurita Winery and tried their food truck at the event. The Arepa and chicken empanadas were soooo good!! My boyfriend and I loved the Arepa and it was our first time ever having one. 10/10!”

“I don’t usually send reviews but felt it was well deserved. I have been there 3x and great all 3x. They hit on all 4 categories. Food was very good, service was good, price was fair and portions were right. If you order an app and entree you will be full. Party of 4 New Year’s Eve and bill was $80. All 4 of us had different entrees and all enjoyed. It is expensive to eat out these days but this place is very reasonable to make you not hesitate to return. If you like Thai and live in Central NJ I suggest you try Ultimate Thai”

“This is a decent bar. The service during the day is not the best if you’re not a regular or if you don’t look a certain way. However, it is a lot better in the evening. The evening bartenders tend to be friendlier and more welcoming. I tried to be a regular there but some of the bad service turned me off. Not bad if you go from to time. The drinks were always great. Food is decent but their wings are absolutely amazing. Place has always been organized and clean.”

“Amazing all around, I felt like I was back in Jamaica off the resort eating like a local. From the beef patties and coco bread, to the jerk chicken meal, to the jerk wings, and to the festivals... everything was exploding with flavor and absolutely delicious!!! The owner, Newell, who came out from the back was extremely humble and very nice. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!!!”

“The woman behind the counter was super nice and accommodating. The sub was pretty packed with Boars Head meat. Toppings were fresh. Bread was fresh. Think next time I would ask for extra vinegar because there wasn’t enough. I went by Sunday morning because I saw they made breakfast sandwiches, but they weren’t open.”

“Be advised that they open at 3pm.
The food is excellent, day staff friendly, and one of the cleanest places around because of the wonderful owner who takes pride in her establishment. Try the soup during the winter months, YUM.
The atmosphere is very dark if you sit downstairs and much lighter upstairs.
Pool tables and other games to entertain you . Many TVs for the sports minded. Daily specials.
This is very much a regulars bar where conversations carry over to anyone who cares to jump in.”
