“We shop in NJ on Saturdays. My daughter asked for Shrimp Tacos. I said ok google, and Las Chiangas popped up. It was near so we headed out. I cannot tell you how amazing this experience was. This place is very small with about 8 tables. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. My daughter asked if they had apple juice for the two kids. They did not... next thing you know, they ran next door and got two bottles for us. I was blown away. To say this place is welcoming would be an understatement. The woman who waited on us was so joyous. The menu is extensive. We ordered simple items. The food was delicious. Now this place is all about home cooking. There are seasoned ladies in the back cooking with a passion for their culture. What a great place. At the end, my daughter said that we would be coming back again, and indeed we will. Thank you so much for making our day so special.“

“I ate at the Monroe store today. I had never been at a Buubakoos before and did not know what to expect. I had the pork burrito and it was off the hook. The place was spotless and the service was spot on. The manager came over and introduced himself as John and asked if everything was satisfactory, and it was more than satisfactory. You would think John was the owner not just the manager, he cared as if was his own business. It was good to see that. I will be back for sure, my new go to place.“

“Ordering pickup from El Mexicano is so GREAT! Starting with the AMAZING customer service when calling to order our food. The young lady answers very politely, understands our order and gets it right every-time! It is ready is a very timely manner. It is carefully packed, with salsas and chips. Most orders include a little salad, limes, and yummy chiles. We love the enchiladas verdes, pollo empanizado (breaded chicken cutlet). The arroz and fríjoles are DELICIOUS! The carnitas are so YUMMY too! Definitely recommend!“

From the appetizer of chicken empanada with all the fixings, to filled burritos of every kind, and the amazing atmosphere, this was an amazing day! “Tried El Buen Sabor Poblano in North Brunswick and had a great experience. We ordered the grilled pork plate with rice, beans, salad, and avocado, plus enchiladas with green salsa. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were very generous. The pork was flavorful with a nice char, and the green sauce on the enchiladas had the perfect tangy kick. Chips and salsa were also a great start to the meal. Definitely a great spot for authentic Mexican food in the area!“

“I read through some of the comments and they were about MY grandma, the owner of the restaurant. Someone said that she was a he. And another said she was from somewhere she was not from! She is from MEXICO. People just make me mad sometimes when do stuff like that. If you do not know the gender of someone you don't even know just say 'they' that easy. But after all great food.“

“This place is truly something special. It’s an upscale Mexican/Tex-Mex experience that feels incredibly elevated and intentionally designed from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is dark, mysterious, and absolutely beautiful…every detail feels curated to create a one-of-a-kind vibe.

The cocktails are spectacular. You can tell each drink is crafted with real expertise and attention to detail, not just in flavor, but in presentation and experience. Everything works together, from the fire and smoke to the sparklers, creating such an exciting and immersive moment with every cocktail. I had a mezcal drink that was honestly the best I’ve ever had.

We started with chips, guacamole, and three different salsas, all of which paired perfectly together and complemented the margaritas so well. We also had the chicken tinga tostada, which was loaded and full of flavor. Definitely a standout appetizer.

For dinner, I had the lobster paella risotto and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. I especially appreciated that it focused on lobster and not other seafood elements as I have allergies, which worked perfectly for me. Truly a five-star dish. My boyfriend ordered the chef’s favorite chicken dish and couldn’t even finish it because of how generous the portion was…the chicken was cooked perfectly.

The portions overall are great for the price. You might expect smaller servings because of how upscale it is, but that’s not the case at all.

The sangria (both red and white) was also amazing! Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced and refreshing. It genuinely felt like summer in a glass.

What made the experience even more special was the attention to detail in hospitality. It was my birthday, and they gave me a sweet birthday card when I arrived and ended the night with a candle to make a wish. Such a thoughtful touch 🩵😭

Before leaving, we walked around to take in the entire space, and it was so cool to see how different each area felt. One side is more intimate and quiet, perfect for smaller tables, while the other is more energetic and designed for larger groups. Even the bar is a whole experience on its own, with flame elements that add to the atmosphere.

We will absolutely be back for another special occasion, and next time hopefully with friends. I can’t wait to try more of their cocktails.

I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention the service… our server was excellent, and although I do not remember his name, he had such knowledge and expertise of the menu that his suggestions and pairings were spot on. As well as the rest of the wait staff and buster’s collectively working together to make sure we had an upscale dining experience. It felt wonderful to be truly attended to.

“Excellent little diner inside the convenience store right next to Dunkin donuts. It's a family-owned business. It's a husband and wife. The wife makes the best empanadas there. They're fresh, made every single day. The chicharron is excellent. And I love the breakfast sandwiches. That's usually my go-to there. “I got the Cheesesteak. The roll was definitely chef's kiss. The Cheesesteak wasn't bad, it was actually better than Wawa, it feels like they skimpped out a little on the meat. The plus side is they'll probably put whatever you want on it without judging you, since when I ordered it he started asking me questions like I was trying to build a salad. “Came in late on a Saturday Afternoon, my wife and I were greeted by two employees Kayla and Jeremy. Rarely do I ever write reviews for places but I must say these two employees had provided such amazing service that I feel compelled to leave this here. Kayla and Jeremy were both attentative and focused on their food prep and neither were annoyed by my wife's dietary restrictions. Kayla even prepped my wife's food separately because of her dietary sensitivities, making sure to use separate spatulas, spoons etc to avoid cross contamination. It isn't often when we go out to a Mexican style restaurant and are greeted so warmly and provided such wonderful service when staff are met with our situation. Jeremy and Kayla were focused, precise and quick preparing our food and their attitudes were both respectful and kind. If you have any dietary concerns or sensitivities know you are in good hands when you stop by this Bubbakoo's Location and are assisted by either Kayla or Jeremy. We look forward to visiting this establishment again in the future.

Oh and everything had fresh avocado ?, it wasn’t black or sour how other restaurants try to serve you. I will be coming 3X’s a week if not more. Also, did I mention they make pizza!!!
