Overall a good experience. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we both really enjoyed the atmosphere. They gave her a cute birthday card. The waitress was very attentive, and came back multiple times to make sure everything was going well. The food was good, but my drinks were not. I ordered 2 rum and cokes. The first one tasted like it barely had any rum in it so I got a double and it tasted the same.
We tried for a reservation but quickly learned, the bar is where it’s at. My husband is crazy finicky but absolutely loves coming to Mezcal. The staff never disappoints. Tonight we had Jaleyah as our bartender and she was perfection! Absolutely adorable and personable. We love just having fun and relaxing and joking around. Reservations are highly recommended to avoid long waits, especially for those wanting to skip the two-month reservation wait.
