“Three of us had a wonderful dine-in experience at Koy Grill Marlboro/Morganville enjoying authentic Turkish/Mediterranean flavors and attentive service. From the moment we opened the door at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by a hostess who genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated, a pretty glass bottle of cold water was brought to our table, along with seasoned fresh/homemade Turkish bread and olive tapenade. The dinnerware and utensils were clean and tightly wrapped in napkin. Waiter and hostess (Ali and Olivia) introduced themselves. New to restaurant, I was given ample time to review menu. Both Ali (in training) and Olivia were very patient with my many menu questions. Needless to say, Ali and Olivia were spot on. We ordered multiple appetizers - shepherd salad, hummus + pita, crispy feta in phyllo rolls, and lentil soup. For dinner we had chicken shish, lamb adana, and lamb gyro + pita that I opted to top with grilled mushrooms and hot pepper. The online photos did not do the dishes any justice. I should have taken my camera out to share how plentiful the dishes were when served and how perfectly grilled the meats were, too! The food had delicious seasoning - that did not repeat afterwards. We took leftovers home and will enjoy lunch the next day. We each had desserts, too, that were served in glassware. One pistachio/gelato and two hazelnut/chocolate flute - both as pictured on menu. We were offered to take glassware home with us afterwards, but forgot to take with us while we focused on remembering to take our bagged leftovers. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable, unplanned Sunday evening dinner. Aside from the freshly cooked delicious food and desserts, it was one of the most pleasant interactions with restaurant staff that I can remember in a long time. “We have been to Nonna's many times and have always enjoyed the food and service. Today, my wife, daughter and I went to celebrate our 51st anniversary expecting to have a delicious dinner as usual. Although the food was excellent as always, the service was not! The waitress Melissa took our order and never saw her again until we were almost finished eating and had to wave to her to get more water. A man brought our bread and butter, another man brought our meals, and cheese etc. and that went well. It should be noted that Melissa never once came back to our table to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything. When she brought the water, she asked if we wanted desert, to which we declined. Another lady came and asked if we wanted our leftovers wrapped whereas she took our plates and returned immediately. Melissa dropped off the bill and walked away, and we never saw her again. We had some questions about the administration fee, because we were paying cash, but there was no one to ask so we just paid the bill, left the folder on the table and left, again, no one was around. When we were seated, there was a small party at a table near us, but they left long before we were ready to leave, so I cant understand why no one even came to our table, since by that time there were only about three tables of diners. Sorry I had to write this response but we were very unhappy with this dining visit. Like I said earlier, we have previously had great service and hope our next visit will be great. Thank You.”

The staff are beyond friendly and doting. It feels like family each and every time we eat in this homey venue. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are always a win at Foodies. The people who are lucky enough to have found Foodies Restaurant know that’s it’s a home away from home and a rare comfortable and inviting place to gather with friends and family.”

“Been coming here for years. Best Chinese food around honestly. People on the phone are always nice and polite. The Shanghai spring rolls are so good and the coconut chicken amazing, the coconut sauce I get extra lol”

“Sometimes a single item on the menu is so good you feel obligated to give a place the highest rating. That’s how I feel about my visit to Salad House. While there is room for improvement (small beverage options; no soda fountain; no cups with ice) the food was fresh and delicious. I did a “make your own” salad and was pleased to see they offer an all-iceberg lettuce for the base. And the outstanding item? Their Thai-style cauliflower bites. Yum! I understand this is a franchise and the franchisees might have their hands tied as to making improvements like soda fountains, and maybe a station to get packets of mayonnaise and barbecue sauce, extra napkins and utensils, etc., so I hope if corporate is reading this they might consider some of these ideas to make a great place even better.”

“The Birria Quesadilla is one of the best things my daughter and I have ever tried! The meat was very juicy, the tortilla crispy and the consommé was amazing. Try this place if you are anywere near it”

“This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. A local gem- thank you to the incredibly owner for giving us allergy people a safe place with delicious food and for accommodating me with a smile. I appreciate you so much. “My wife and I (and sometimes our grandson) have been visiting this location since August when we moved from Virginia to New Jersey. There we had Tropical and got to know the staff really well.

This place has become a second home for lunch when we rented in Manalapan and having moved to Monroe TWP, it’s a little further but we still try to visit it often,

The Manager Vijay and Maria the Asst Manager are awesome. Maria has been taking care of us for so long that she knows the ingredients, offers us the best value from my points vs coupons offered and takes care of us (even distributing goodies on our special holidays). Vijay prepares really tasty food, spoils us by bringing it to our table, and now our grandson loves to eat there.

Ove the many months, we have seen so many part time employees who come and go and the patience that Maria has training is amazing.

The food is tasty and smoothies customized to exactly how we like them.

My apologies to Vijay and Maria for taking so long to acknowledge what a special place this has become for us and we are already think of our next trip.”

“Just had my daughter’s 8th birthday at Carlo’s Gourmet Pizzeria and it was such a hit! Not only was the food delicious, the room was beautiful! Matt was absolutely wonderful to work with and very accommodating when I wanted to bring in another vendor to keep the girls entertained in addition to the pizza making. Matt was well prepared to teach the girls how to make their own pizzas from scratch and able to keep them engaged the whole time! He was on top of every detail making sure everyone had whatever they needed. On our way out my daughter said it was the best birthday she ever had! I’m not one to usually write reviews but I couldn’t go without acknowledging what a great local business to support! Thanks again!”

“I got the tacos al pastor and it was amazing. The tortillas were unlike anything I have ever tasted before and the pork and pineapple was delicious; I also loved their salsas. The only thing wrong was she gave 3 tacos instead of 4 like it says on the menu and it was a bit pricey, but I'll still go back.”

“First visit and we loved everything! Best bolognaise I've ever had; meatballs and spaghetti with meat sauce so good. May daughter had the artichoke app with foccacia bread on the side. She said it was fabulous...almost licked the plate.
My picky granddaughter w gave a thumbs up to the penne vodka and we all loved the bread. Service was excellent with Madeline being so helpful and kind. A great experiences. We will be back!”
