“We had lunch on Saturday afternoon. I would rate the food as pretty good, and better than Red Lobster which is right across Rt. 18. However the presentation of the food leaves a good deal to be desired. They serve on paper strays with plastic spoons. Paper would be fine if it was of a higher / thicker quality. The plastic utensils would also be fine if they weren’t of the kiddie party variety. The We had soft shelled crab, fried shrimp and catfish with boiled Cajun pototes and French fries. All of the food was good, neither over cooked not undercooked. The soft shell carb was pretty good. What was annoying was that the (soupy) boiled potato(s) side dish was served in a Saran Wrap baggie tied in a knot and put in the same paper tray with the fried soft shell crab. It was hard to tear it open without spilling the contents all over the table. However the side dish potatoes were good. The problem was the plating. The French fries were also good, neither overcooked nor undercooked and tender. While the food is good you and the restaurant is decently decorated, you get the impression that they have a very very tight budget for necessities as in utensils, plates and trays. Nevertheless we will eat there again or have their food delivered. They do not have a delivery service so you must use Uber or Doordash.“

“A hidden jewel. This 50's themed diner is always immaculate. Staff is well trained and really friendly for this family owned business. We, until recently, worked our business from home so Chris's is our home from home. Always accommodating, food is excellent, prices fair. My happy place❤“

“1st and last time coming here. With the price of the buffet you would think they will have more food selections. The food was nasty, cold and dry. The hibachi was closed and the steak they did make and put out was cold, tough and been sitting out for a while. Crabs were cold and small they were stingy with putting everything out in small portions. Didn't have any snow crabs like they advertise. The bubble tea was free so my children didn't know upon leaving we had to pay for it. The rude receptionist ran and chased us down out the door and snatched them out my kids hands. If she wasn't so rude i would of went back to pay for them. I spent a total of $267 including $40 tip for nasty buffet and service. False advertising on social media made me come here. Never again“

“Long time patrons but Blue Water has gone downhill over the last several years as far as seafood choices and food taste. Seafood Fra Diavolo ordered medium was tasteless and calamari were the Shop n Stop frozen rings. Key Lime pie slice the size for a mouse maybe and tasteless, no presentation like back in the day. Another “ former “ old time patron sitting next to us was furious as his swordfish was maybe 1/4” thick. We both agreed never to visit Blue Water again. We both remembered when it was the best ! My spouse and I were customers when the place would be packed now 4 tables only at 6:30pm ( guessing others feel the same) and long gone is the special menu had lobster cakes, halibut, monk fish , red snapper etc. Sadly and honestly not even better than a pizza restaurant but 3x the price. Bye Blue Water Seafood .“

“I only got takeout, but they prepared the food quickly, and the packaging was perfect.
I got crab legs and corn, both were delicious and very fresh.
The even included a pair of gloves in the bag for the crab! (I didn't use them, but presumably some people want to keep their hands clean during this sort of meal)“

“First time eating at Umi but it definitely will not be the last time. This place is heaven to anyone who loves Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Sushi, or American fast foods, and desserts. The best thing is its all you eat. Btw, this is the first restaurant Asian or American that has a sign that reads: TWO HOUR limit on consuming food. Two hours is a long time to be eating. After six trips to the buffet dishes and one hour's time my party of five and I were full and couldn't eat any more. This buffet offered the most diverse sushi bar I've ever seen. Umi also offered a few dishes never seen at other Asian buffets. Umi offers an array of foods, and is now my favorite Chinese Asian buffet/restaurant“

“Our server Steve (bald guy) was incredibly attentive and kind. The dine-in experi3nce was nice and clean. The food was honestly some of the best chinese food I have had. I don't know how the ratings are not higher for this place. The chicken wings were some of my favorite fried wings that I've had. They were big, flavorful, cooked to perfection, and had a hint of spice. The shrimp and broccoli was delicious and the shrimp were big. We also had egg foo yung and my mom loved it. The only criticism I would have is that I would want more soy sauce on the rice for flavor, but even that was a small thing. I would rate this place a 4.7 out of 5. I live about an hour away but if I'm in the are again, I would definitely make it a point to stop here. Loved the food, service, and the place itself. “From out of town but visit once a month for work. I stumbled upon this place just driving around looking for food and was very pleased with the food and the service. I have had both the pollo and asada tacos-both fantastic. The fresh tortillas make a huge difference. The pizza was also very delicious. Usually eat the tacos in and pizza to go. As for the comments regarding discrimination- White male here who's been several times and have never had an issue. Also fast, kind and courteous service for me.“
