“It's tucked away in a small strip mall next to a pizza place. There is a small bar in the back with a TV. The bar is always lively when work gets out. The beer selection here is pretty good. There's a little of everything. The same goes for the wine and spirits. You won't find anything crazy or hard to get. The owner and the employees are all friendly and help you with anything you need.“

“This is a perfect example of a tried and true local mom & pop shop serving the local community. Everyone who works here is friendly and knowledgeable. The bar area is enormous and a great place to unwind after a rough day. I even come here with my laptop and work from time to time. And the food is delicious! Sure, places like this won’t have the same vast selection as a Total Wine or Joe Canal, but the owners have always been able to order me anything I need and will even stock it regularly if it gets a following. “Everyone was accommodating, a friend sent back drunken clams cause it had meat in it as well. She asked for buttered garlic steamers instead recieved them in dipping oil. I don't know where the mix of communication is at between servers to kitchen. I've been here 3x's and sorry to say I won't be going back. They do have cold beers and it's a nice place, maybe the kitchen doesn't understand English very well? I don't have the answer but spending $ here isn't doable“

“For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

“I've been going to the South River Pub for many many years and I used to bartend there as well. It's my hometown bar and I love it. My mom knew the owners and i grew up with their kids and they have become like family. I particularly love karaoke night on Fridays with DJ Rob, who has become a dear friend to me over the years as well. The regulars are fun, kind and caring people and when I go there it feels like family. Like “Cheers.” They don't serve food but you can bring your own if you like. Sometimes for special events and football, Lil will make a little food buffet for the customers. It's always a fun time.“

“this is definitely one of the best burgers i’ve had in my life. i could taste the love in everything from the fries to the burger. my first but felt like heaven. it felt like and angel made my burger and sprinkled some extra love into it before sending it out. everything came out hot and i didn’t have to wait forever to get it. deff stop by if you want to taste what i tasted. i got a little fella medium well with bacon, fried egg and jalepenos with the Kelly sauce with a side of some nice boardwalk fries. i will be thinking about this at 4am.“
