“The Royal is a bit like walking back in time. Place hasn't changed much over the years. It was old 30+ years ago, except now there's friendlier feeling. Could have something to do with the girls. They're all very friendly and happy. I used to go there for lunch way back in the day (like 30+ way backs) when we worked on Saturdays. Back then you had to walk over to the dinner side to order what you wanted for lunch and they would bring it over to the bar side. Started going again a year or 2 ago for dinner on Saturdays with my bride.. They even know what drinks we're we want now when we walk in. Speaking of walking in. Don't be put off if all the seats are taken. There's plenty of tables in the back. All in all a great little no frills bar.“

“What can I say, Willies is one of our favorite spots. Great food, great drinks, excellent service and the friendliest bartenders around. While we typically go later to listen to the live bands, anytime we have had dinner there, food has always been delicious, generous portions and a nice presentation which you might not expect but are pleasantly surprised! The band last night was one of our favs and they played music that we enjoyed and also our young adult kids. Definitely our go to spot!!“

“Just spent St. Patrick's Day here. Live music, step dancers, amazing bag pipes, incredible food and a great price. They really shamrocked it this year. Our waiter was outstanding too!“

“I like this bar a lot because it's close to where I live. Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms and good happy hour specials. 5 jumbo wings for 5 bucks. They were pretty good too. And DJ Moist absolutely kills it on Friday nights with the old school hip hop and rnb. And best of all, it's right near one of the best taco trucks in ktown. Thank you for the good times, 1933 Room.“

“My corporate office is close by so I have been here several times over the past few years. As of this week they rolled out a new menu and I was definitely impressed. The selections are more varied and the quality also seems to have improved. I will say the staff and drinks have always been top notch, so no improvement needed there. Happy to see the menu change and save myself some DoorDash fees on my future trips!

“I had my husband 60th birthday party in the Banquet Room. Giving the BIGGEST shout out Jen, Spencer and John who made it the best party ever. Walked me through every step from planning, ordering and choosing the right menu. It was the greatest party by far that we ever had. Bigger shout out to the bartender Julia and hostess Gabby. “We have been wanting to try The Rail for a while so we finally went last night. The setting is very cool and I love the historic building. The host was friendly and we were seated right away. It took some time before anyone came over to get our drink order and once placed it also took some time. It was a bit busy so no worries. We ordered an appetizer for table. The boneless chicken was very good and nachos were just average. Between the five of us there were two cheesesteaks and three burgers ordered. All were VERY good. I had the Westbound burger and it was cooked perfectly, juicy, full of flavor and just what I wanted. Everyone else had similar experience. The live band started to play and we were looking forward to staying for them but their music selection was not our taste. Overall I would go back again. Maybe service was an off night. Definitely try the burgers! And maybe a different band would have kept us there all night.“

“So sad that when my sisters wedding was canceled on BY THE RYLAND INN cause of covid and rescheduled and only had the options of a couple Sundays even though they PAID for a SATURDAY the would NOT switch the price or give her a SATURDAY like they PAID for...shame on you ryland inn awful buisness practice“
