I liked this restaurant. I didn't realize it is inside a hotel. But once inside you are separate from the lobby. The food and service was very good.
My corporate office is close by so I have been here several times over the past few years. As of this week they rolled out a new menu and I was definitely impressed. The selections are more varied and the quality also seems to have improved. I will say the staff and drinks have always been top notch, so no improvement needed there. Happy to see the menu change and save myself some DoorDash fees on my future trips!

The food and drinks were really good! That being said, the service was fairly slow. We were a table of 5 with a reservation, and many who came in after us got their food before us. Supposedly it was because they ordered ahead of time- not sure how that's possible, but ok... They need more waitstaff - I felt bad for our waitress as I think she was the only waitress working that night.

The Tap Room, also known as Tap & Bitters, is a hotel bar and restaurant located within the Hilton. It offers a cozy, inviting, and nice ambiance with upscale decor, including pleasant outside areas. The staff are consistently noted as friendly, welcoming, prompt, and top notch. The bar provides a good variety of local beers, yummy cocktails, and a full bar, with happy hour specials on both appetizers and alcohol. The Passion Fruit Margarita is highlighted as a refreshing and balanced star.
The menu has recently been updated to offer more varied selections, and the quality is seen to have improved, though some find the food mediocre and average. Specific dishes receive mixed feedback: the Steak & Frites is satisfactory but could be more tender, the shrimp Cobb salad is delicious, the brussel sprout appetizer is very good, and the tacos are thoroughly enjoyed. However, some appetizers, like the wings, are criticized for seeming not fresh. An order issue with an Impossible Burger was promptly corrected by the staff.
While some feel the food is nothing amazing and the pricing is expensive, the establishment is considered a convenient spot with a great vibe. It is particularly suited for travelers staying at the hotel or those with a nearby corporate office looking for warm food and a bar experience, though some would not make a special trip solely for dining there.
