“Everyone knows they have great bagels, especially their everything bagel…. However, I Accidentally found out they have probably the best tuna sub I’ve had in years! If you’re a fan of tuna, give it a shot! Comes with a side of macaroni salad or coleslaw or other small options“

“First time coming here and i love the bagels! The bagels are fresh and the people working there are very nice too. I had a bacon egg and cheese with a cinnamon raisin bagel and it was by far one of the best bagels I’ve had. I will come back again for sure!“

“I was surprised to see the “bad” reviews. lol they’re not even bad at all. Those are the kind of people any establishment is better off without. This is a bagel shop, and they serve good food. The employees have to smile more? Seriously ?? lol grow up , this is not nobu. Anyways rant over, I finally came here after wanting to visit for awhile. I really like the vibe inside. They have a nice tv and seating area. I loved my chicken wrap that came with chips and a pickle. My mother’s crossiant sandwich was also good ! I can’t wait to try their other sandwich’s.“

“These bagels were, in fact, amazing! I couldn't decide and went for the sesame. Both sides were covered, so bonus if you're like me and eat a bagel half at a time. I also got the veggie cream cheese. Delicious. Maybe less stuff mixed in, but great flavor. The apple turnover was also delicious. A good amount of filling and not too messy, but still flaky.

We stopped by around 9AM, so everything was still fresh. My only regret is i didn't get an extra bagel to go. I'll be back.“

“Quick stop to purchase some bagels.Small but sufficient and orderly parking lot. Friendly service and good selection of bagels. They even had a jalapeno bagel. There was a sign for spinach bagel but sadly none made today. 6 bagels = $7

“Ok so being Google keeps asking me to review here I thought and nice Sunday morning coffee and bagel would be good. There is a big parking lot being it’s part of a shopping center. Walking in no confusion as to where to go to order. Everyone seemed very nice and helpful. I think it took me longer to make my coffee then it took to make and bag my bagel. Let me stop boring you with the BS stuff let’s talk bagel and coffee. I have been to a few bagel shops and I have to say Manhattan Bagel has the softest bagels. I did just get a buttered salt but wow the outside was mildly crunchy but like I said nice and soft in the middle. As far as coffee I tried their fall blend pumpkin spice and it tasted very deluded, not to much taste. They didn’t have French vanilla so I went with the pumpkin. Would I go back 100% the bagel was fantastic“

Not only did I receive a fantastic bacon egg & cheese but the gentleman behind the counter separates this place from others. “Great breakfast sandwich options for less. Called ahead every time and without fail, my order was ready to go every time I walked in. We enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant as well as plain bagels with cream cheese. The coffee was also nothing to scoff at either. We definitely enjoyed our breakfast, so much so that we went back the next day. And for the price, you can't beat it. Definitely better than what you will get at the nearby hotels and for less.“

“One of the best bagel places in town. Here for $10, I can actually get cream cheese and a good serving of lox on a bagel, and even add onion and tomato on it. Normally, I'd have to go to NYC or make it myself to get a good cream cheese and lox. Also, based on one of the other reviews, I tried the Fat Marlena. Great breakfast or brunch wrap if you want something filling and not greasy. If you want something lightly sweet to take home, their French Toast bagels are great toasted with butter. (we had them with some maple butter on hand from a farmers market, and it was a-maz-ing!) Not in the mood for a bagel today? They have tons of other great breakfast options all under $10!“

What really stood out during my visit was the service. Wael, the gentleman working the front counter, was exceptionally polite, attentive, and patient. His attention to detail and willingness to listen closely to my order, especially as someone who likes to customize their breakfast sandwiches, this was refreshing. In many bagel spots, staff can seem rushed or distracted, but Wael made the experience easy.

Whether you're a classic bacon-egg-and-cheese kind of person or someone who likes to get a little creative with your sandwich, Bagel 1 delivers quality without the chaos. The spot is low-key, but the flavor is next level.

Hes at the former crazy bagels east brunswick next to the bakery and not only are the bagels delicious as they should be he made me breakfast this morning and as usual perfect. He seems the only person I know that listens when someone wants fried soft eggs Thumanns ham sliced thin with cheese on a buttered bagel absolutely delicious. “I always had Dunellen Bagel when I lived there and it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had. I moved and bagels aren’t the same here so everytime I visit Jersey I have to go to Dunellen Bagel and I have my husband addicted too. He’s never tasted a bagel like this and he was amazed. So we bring bagels back home in our carry-on and freeze them at home. I would 100% definitely recommend this place!“

“Amazing. I mean just wow. I got a french toast bagel with Oreo cream cheese and it blew me away. They had cookies and cakes as well which I almost got but I changed my mind. I wish I was local, so I could go back and try those as well. Drink and food prices are reasonable, and for the quality it is 100% a no brainer. “What an amazing gem of a place! They have something for everyone - such an expansive menu. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, and they can even accommodate those sensitive to gluten. Will definitely be back!“

“Really awesome bagels! Typical bagel shop / deli fare. I like the variety of bagels - they have everything, egg everything and a whole wheat everything! Their multi-grain and french toast bagels are awesome too. Great food. Cooks prepare the food correctly. The staff are very friendly, it shows when they are rushed or stressed, but otherwise they are welcoming and thank us for coming in. It looks like some reviewers have complained about the staff, but the staff always welcome us when we walk in the door, they are kind, friendly and joke around with us. You cant ask for better! The coffee is great! Tasty and fresh, I love some of the flavored beans, but they don't always have every flavor available. Chicken salad and tuna salad and other lunch options are also very tasty.“

“Very small bagel store, no frill interior. I believe they have a couple small tables at most and a wall hung flat panel. Tables may have been removed during peak COVID. Parking is pretty decent, I can typically get a parking spot without issue. Some bagel varieties do run out quite early in the morning. Typically everything bagel, salt, egg, wheat, blueberry are available later in the day. I do feel these bagels are some of the best in the immediate area, not bready, with enough chewy and crispy parts and moist. They have basic variety of bagel flavor selection but not a huge variety. Bagels have always been spot on consistent. Friendly staff and typically quick service.“
