Food is good but BEWARE!!! The lady at the cashier (who was rather pushy and unpleasant) charged us a 20% tip, saying they would NOT accept anything less than 20%!!! We were having a pleasant time up until then!
Service needs to improve lady never ofer re filled my drinks when I was done she just put my ticket on the table and walk away I was going to order something to go and cheesecake never mind food was ok ? just the lady's actitud was

Metuchen Diner never fails. It’s a great Diner to get breakfast, lunch or dinner at. Their menu is extensive but you can’t go wrong with a good old fashion breakfast here. Pancakes, egg sandwiches, home fries and waffles are amazing. Having been here many times I can say I have enjoyed all I have mentioned. Coffee is awesome it’s great Diner coffee.
