“We really enjoy this place. The food is excellent and it has a very chill laid back atmosphere. The second time we visited this place was because the Mexican restaurant next to it had a one hour wait. I'm not waiting one hour and we need that the food here was good. My wife ordered a Italian Stromboli and I had pasta and octopus. They were both exceptionally tasty, and always come out piping hot. In addition, everyone gets a really delicious bread basket with different types of Italian breads, garlic, bruschetta and baked bread. The owner is always cordial and you can see him mingling around talking to people. If you are in town I would recommend this place. They are fully accessible, and will move tables around for you if you need them to be moved. The bathrooms are also accessible and there are some accessible parking spots available on the street, or in the parking deck behind the courtyard restaurant area. By the way the prices are really good.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible and that includes the restroom facilities.“
“Jimmy provided the food for our family and friends after my husband's funeral. Everything was excellent. He went out of his way to accomodate us and made sure everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived from the funeral. Wonderful people to work with and prices were reasonable.“
“The food is great The chefs and owner are first of all. Unfortunately it's a place where you buy a pizza or Italian dinner and then sit down if you bring your food to your table. There is no atmosphere or waitresses but the food is worth going in with your friends just to pick up any something you know it's going to be good and then leave.“
“This is my favorite Italian Restaurant in Metuchen,in fact in all of New Jersey. Food is authentic Italian. In fact it feels like you're in a little cafe in Italy. Owner and wait staff is excellent. Very friendly. Will always eat here for a good experience!“
“WOW. My husband and I went here for the first time tonight with my in-laws and we were absolutely blown away. The service was top notch, everyone was so attentive. The place was cozy and very clean. The food was INCREDIBLE. Appetizer, meal, dessert one thing was better than the next. The crab cake was perfection, the owner Victor (what a gem of a man!) suggested the meatball appetizer, the cheesecake and bread pudding…GET THESE! The bread pudding was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. We also got the lobster bisque, clams, seafood linguine, wild mushroom fettuccine, salmon and mango raspberry sorbet… all absolutely delicious and very healthy portions. 12/10 recommend, wish I could give more than 5 stars!“
“I saw on Instagram that this place had weekend lunch specials so I suggested it for lunch with friends. Entrees were $15 with appetizers and desserts for an additional cost. When I walked in, it was just past opening time so it took a bit for someone to come out and seat me. The waiter was nice and frequently refilled water for the group. I got the skate fish piccata and it was pretty good. I'm not too sure how piccata should be, but it was pretty oily/buttery. I would've preferred a more emulsified sauce, or less butter. We also got a calamari to share and that was pretty good. Overall good for the price, and if you don't want a super heavy meal. The restaurant looked nice enough for a romantic evening or celebration.“
“La Rosa is our go to place! Lovely place to have dinner with the family. Reasonable prices and delicious food! I’m yet to find Eggplant park as good as La Rosa anywhere else! We like to eat in too. A family restaurant run by very sweet and accommodating people! Thanks for the numerous homey meals!“
“Walked in, didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The interiors felt like a high-end restaurant, and the food kept up with it!The covered outdoor space was comfy and classy, with beautiful green art on the walls. The flavors, taste, and texture were really top-notch Italian food I've had. Highly recommended.“
