I have gotten a few different empanadas since working in the neighborhood from Angie's and they are so good!! I tried the chicken stew yesterday, which I asked for with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains and it did not disappoint. It was flavorful, filling, and all cooked perfectly. The prices aren't too bad too. The only thing I would ask for is better containers- I ordered takeout and the liquid from the chicken stew almost spilled out of the container all over my outfit! Otherwise I will be getting this at least once a week!!

This was my first visit so wasn't exactly sure what to expect but was warmly greeted by a friendly person behind the counter who showed me a menu that I quickly glanced through before opting for 2 cupcakes that I brought home. They were priced higher than I expected but not out of range for the area and very small gone in 2 small bites. They tasted homemade and very good. There are different prices for cash and credit card. The place is clean, organized, small tables with chairs scattered neatly to enjoy a snack, drink or meal.If you're looking for a small place in Metuchen then this place is worth a visit.Parking: There is a small parking lot there but very small. I'd suggest the street or nearby there is a pay parking lot.

Owner is super friendly. I love the decorations outside and inside. I spend a good amount of time here as it gives me tranquility the atmosphere.Love the Tres Leches Postre, please try her customized Hot Ginger Tea with fruits inside. Also, the chicken sandwich is delicious ??

2/ l10/24 Saturday - This was our 1st visit to Angies. We were the inly patrons in the restaurant. Service was by Angie herself! I had the Cuban sandwich with FF. My husband had the Tilapia dinner (with rice + beans). Decor is very quaint. Music in the dining area is very Dominican (merengue, of course!) Highly recommend this BYOB .:. It is truly a neighborhood gem!

I’ve only had empanadas here and they’re fantastic. The parking is really confusing and they need to put signs.

The cupcakes are good but only have macaroons as the gluten free option. It is a cute place and my friends liked the cupcakes just wish there were more options for me

Drove by this pink wonderland and just had to stop in... And then realized it was Dominican owned! Loved everything here. The staff was friendly. We ordered a few cupcakes which were super moist and delicious. They have Dominican frosting down to perfection. The tres leche was so good. Perfect spot for a cute mangu brunch.

Came across Angie's while at a nearby appointment and I'm so glad I did! I had a delicious latte and beef empanada. The service was friendly and there is plenty of seating with cute decor throughout. I'll be back to try the sweets and lunch.

Que rico! I'm so happy that I found this place. The food was great, it felt like I was eating one of my moms home cooked meals! The service was amazing as well!

The service here is definitely not customer oriented. Upon ordering Pollo guisado, I asked that the rice be placed in a separate container. You would have thought I was asking for gold. I attempted to explain that I didn't want the rice to get wet. The person then explains, "I would need to charge you for all three separately." SERIOUSLY???? I'm only requesting a seperate container. She then goes on to explain that the rice won't get wet. Uhhhh, duhhhh, yes it will! What would it have cost you to provide a separate container for the rice????
