Mannys is a family owned and operated restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and everyone seems to know each other!! They make u feel welcomed and appreciated which is hard to find nowadays. My favorite dish is the stewed chicken w/veggie rice. The small take out box is only $7 but can easily feed 2. The large is (I believe) $9, and both come with a handful of yummy plantanos. The classic Dominican breakfast here is fire and the portion is a good size! Everything is cooked to perfection and tasty, always a 10/10! Try the “Tres Golpes” which comes with mangu, which is a savory plantain mash, accompanied with fried cheese, eggs, and salami. It’s topped with soft pickled onions and butter. ???
