I used to order from here, but after yesterday.. i will not. I ordered the pernil. And all night i was throwing up, and someone else who had the same order as me, was also throwing up. So i guess its safe to say that the pernil was not well cooked or was re-heated. But after this experience.. i will not order from here again.

Do NOT order from this place. I order a whole chicken w/ a side of yuca. The chicken was cold and dry and the yuca was hard.I whole heartedly feel they sent me leftovers from the day before. Mind you I ordered it at 1pm. I called them after I received my order and the lady said "that the chicken was probably cold because of the weather and their heat is not really working"? I'm sorry but isn't the chicken in the rotisserie oven??Then proceeded to tell me that the yuca didn't come out good that day. WHAT?! So if the yuca didn't come out good, why is it on the menu and why would you send it? TF

Mannys is a family owned and operated restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and everyone seems to know each other!! They make u feel welcomed and appreciated which is hard to find nowadays. My favorite dish is the stewed chicken w/veggie rice. The small take out box is only $7 but can easily feed 2. The large is (I believe) $9, and both come with a handful of yummy plantanos. The chicken literally melts in ur mouth and they use just the right amount of seasoning so its not too spicy for those of us who don't like spicy food!! Lunch/dinner at Mannys is always a pleasureable experience ? !!! Neighborhood isn't all that bad as other reviews mentioned, however, parking will b tricky!! Overall - ★★★★★

The classic Dominican breakfast here is fire and the portion is a good size! Everything is cooked to perfection and tasty, always a 10/10! Try the “Tres Golpes” which comes with mangu, which is a savory plantain mash, accompanied with fried cheese, eggs, and salami. It’s topped with soft pickled onions and butter. ???

As a kid, I use to come here with my mother after she worked a long day. The food is still delicious and affordable! It is not the place to sit and vibe out for dinner but it is a great spot to grab some traditional Caribbean food. Cons: areaPros: food tremendously delicious, friendly customer service and a variety foods! I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!! I ordered chicken and cabbage and obviously it was great!
