“Don't believe the bad reviews here. The food is great. I had the chicken. Got 4 drumsticks with yellow rice and beans. Amazing. Just don't order empanadas they don't know how to makes those. Other then that food is amazing. Me and my girl went there and now I went today again for lunch at work 5 of us all ordered stuff and everyone at work said it was the best. The chicken falls right off the bone and the rice is cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place“

“The music was very load and playing Rihanna. I don’t have a problem with her at all but it’s a Peruvian restaurant and was July 28th Peruvian Independence Day. I was expecting maybe some folklore something Peruvian. I asked the waitress to please lower the volume and she did but only a bit. I thanked her and at least we were able to conversarte. I asked for a big bottle Inca kola be side I saw they had some but I was told they can only serve small cans to the table. I think the place should offer the big bottles be side I had to arder like six cans and it’s bad for the environment.
None of these things are the waitresses fault. These are the owners rules.

“Only 4 tables and 12 seats but maaaan this food is the bomb. I grew up eating stews and rice for lunch in far away lands and this hits the spot. I think I inhaled my giant plate in 2 min. We'll seasoned, everything tasted good (carne, rice, red beans, maduros). Will come back when Im in the area again. Thank you to polite staff too for supporting my Spanish :)“

“We ordered catering for a family gathering and everyone absolutely loved the food. We had pernil, baked chicken, Moro rice, potato salad and maduros. Everything was delicious and you can tell it was cooked with love. The process of ordering the food was also easy and Auri was kind, prompt and very helpful. Highly recommended!“

“Beef stew and Chivo were good. Beans are ok, not great. A serving of tostones is for 2 people it seems like. 4 stars 🌟 on that. I like the potato salad with eggs but they didn't have that today. Today they had macaroni salad with Tuna but I didn't taste any tuna 1 star 🌟 for the Mac salad. Service is good. It seems like a family run business. Overall I'll give them 4 stars because of they way they treat you like family. If your in passaic and hungry pass by and you won't be sorry.“

This place is excellent. We tried a couple things the chicken legs with rice, pernil with rice and beans, maduros, and everything came out great. Flavorful, not dry, and delicious.

“I visited Bachata y Merengue Restaurant and would rate it 3/5 stars.

The food was okay, but I think it could definitely be better. My boyfriend ordered the meatballs, and they were too salty. The spaghetti was bland and needed more flavor. I ordered the rice and chicken, which were decent, but I would give them a 6/10 overall.

The restaurant itself felt very quiet and empty. There wasn’t any music playing, which made the atmosphere feel less inviting. I also noticed there were no desserts available, and the refrigerator looked mostly empty with very few drink options.

The buffet is small and offers mostly basic dishes, so there isn’t a lot of variety to choose from.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I think the food, atmosphere, and menu selection could all be improved.“

“I work in Midtown Manhattan and everyone in the company has tasted the cuisine of So Good Cuisine LLC... we licked our fingers with that seafood ham and chofan... wow how delicious, just remembering it is a pleasure to the palate... Since then we have ordered our dishes holidays with them.. I highly recommend it if you want to eat well and look good with your guests.. they are super cordial and attentive to the details of the order… We went to the restaurant and it is nice and hygienic too.. “Stopped here out of curiosity and we were not disappointed. The cheapest and yummiest Dominican food Ive had in NJ so far!

We got 2 lunches of white rice and stew chicken, 2 orders of beans and an order of sweet plantains. Total: $22! They serve SOOOO much food, we had left overs. My plate in the photo is after me eating quite a bit already. We then went back and got 2 tres leches, each were $3.50. Very yummy, I highly recommend this restaurant. In regards to customer service they were so sweet, professional and attentive. I wish this business lots of good fortune and will spread the word. They are amazing.“

Unfortunately 2 days before our event my daughter had to undergo an emergency csection. They didn’t hesitate to refund me the money we paid even though they were clearly at a loss. “I love this place I've been coming since I was 11 and I'm 21 now. I wish they would fix the timing on google maps. I went to the resturant at 8:10pm and it says that today it would be open until 9pm but the front metal shutters were down. I was really anticipating eating here after work just for it to be closed. The food is 10/10 absolutely delicious but it really killed my mood to see it closed almost an hour before it says they'll be closed online.“
