For the price, the food is filling and delicious. Pork is a bit on the dry side but the chicken is juicy and well seasoned. Ordered a side of plantains and was served with a heap of toasty plantains, some were on the hard side but the well cooked and jammy ones were delish (and worth the money). Service is kind without being over the top, and ambiance isn't something to write home about but who cares! Hidden gem status and I hope it stays that way
I've been here many times over the years. I remember it in its old location. I'm never disappointed, and I always feel taken care of when I come for mofongo, mangu or chicken soup. It's one of the few places in this everchanging city that feels like home.
